The Space:
This guest suite offers a comfortable and inviting space for your stay. The master bedroom and living room both open onto a private deck, perfect for enjoying the outdoors. Inside, you'll find a cozy fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen. Step outside to the private patio, where you can relax in the hot tub, grill on the charcoal BBQ, and enjoy a meal at the table and chairs. We provide a starter supply of coffee and tea to get you settled in.

Guest Access:
*Driveway/Parking area is shared with 2 units, no other space is shared
*This listing is based on double occupancy, meaning there is a fee for each guest beyond 2 people. Day visitors are not allowed so every person on the property (including infants and children) at any time, must be on your reservation. Maximum guest occupancy is 5.
*Please do not try to open locked doors or wonder into patios belonging to other units on the property.
* Early checkin and Late check out must be arranged in advance and will come with a charge. The Housekeeping company pays their staff by the hour, whether they are cleaning or waiting for guests to leave. In general they charge a fee of $25 per hour to alter the check in or check out time
*We do not alter our cancellation policy for instances of snow, rain, smoke from fires and closures to the national park.

The Neighborhood:
Squirrel View is ideally situated for both tranquility and convenience. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood primarily populated by local residents, it offers a peaceful escape while still being remarkably close to the heart of Oakhurst (approximately a 0.9-mile drive). You'll find a blend of serene mountain living with easy access to local amenities. This makes Squirrel View a perfect base for exploring the area's attractions and enjoying the local atmosphere, while still being able to retreat to a quiet, residential setting.

Getting Around:
It is possible to take the YARTS bus and walk a mile to the house from the bus stop at the Oakhurst Starbucks. However, most people will want a car.

Note: At times Yosemite National Park requires reservations, see the official website for details, if you fail to get them you can take the YARTS bus or another tour into the park without reservations.

Other Things to Note:
Charcoal for the grill is not provided. While we try to keep salt, pepper and oil stocked for your convenience, it is not guaranteed.

The thermostat will only allow you to set the temperature between certain minimum and maximum temperature limits. Should you need to exceed these temperature limits there are additional fees.

Please note: some roads from the East, such as Tioga Pass and Glacier Point are seasonal and are closed October through June.

Pack-n-play must be requested in advance.

PLEASE NOTE: Hot Tub is available for use 24/7 but please know that the hot tub servicer will stop by at some point, during daytime hours, to service the hot tub. We do also have other service providers (Gardner, pest control, etc.) who may be outside on the property during daytime hours, from time to time.

You will receive a fee request after booking to cover additional housekeeping expenses. The housekeeping company charges $50 for checkouts on any of these holidays.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not alter our cancellation policy for instances of rain, snow, smoke from fires, failure to get reservations to the National Park or closures to the national park. Please purchase your travel insurance accordingly.

Lost and Found: All lost and found items will be kept for up to 7 days. Shipping cost and staff time to mail it back will be charged to the guest. The minimum fee to ship an item starts at $50 and may increase depending on shipping cost.

Interaction with Guests:
We live about 25 minutes away and are available if the need arrises. We communicate promptly through message via the website/app or email.
