The most incredible view of Cape Cod Bay awaits at this oceanfront condo in historic Provincetown, where the sandy beach and stunning sunrises and sunsets are right outside your door. Exploring the sand is just one of many things you can do here. The area is also rife with opportunities for biking (Cape Cod National Seashore Bike Trails), hiking (Old Colony Hiking Trail), birdwatching (Maple Grove Bird Sanctuary), whale-watching, wine tasting, theater (Provincetown Theatre), live music, parades, festivals, gallery walks, shops, and restaurants to try.

The Bay Colony Condos offer a truly unbeatable location, with one of the most photographed scenes on Cape Cod just outside. It's a spot that'll give you a front-row seat to the town's parades, lovely views of several lighthouses from the porch, and fantastic access to the summer shuttle into town (which stops outside). You'll also be next door to the Harbor Inn's pool and bar, an easy bike ride downtown, and close to a number of beautiful beaches, including Herring Cove, Race Point, Cape Cod National Seashore, and the beach across the road.

The living space is full of coastal sunlight and that gorgeous ocean view. Slide open the glass doors to find a deck overlooking the bay, where you can savor your coffee at sunrise and dine in the shade of the umbrella at sunset. The sunny interior includes a kitchen, an eat-in dining table, and a sitting room with a TV (offering both cable and streaming capability).

After a day spent whale-watching from MacMillan Pier or enjoying the Friday night art gallery walk, throw in the day's laundry into the shared washer/dryer. Two air-conditioned bedrooms provide for a restful night's sleep.

Love love love

This place was absolutely perfect for me and my husband and my two-year-old. Right across the street from the beach and a very short walk to town. We would book this place again in a heartbeat.

Ptown bay side

We really enjoyed our stay. The rental is somewhat dated but in a great location. Walking to Ptown is a little too far, but there is a bus stop in front of the rental that is free and runs to Ptown.

Everything was excellent, the only thing that was truly bothersome was the bathroom, shower curtain was terribly moldy. I don’t understand why people cleaning do not notice this it only costs a few dollars to change them. it is very important , in my eyes, since it’s one of the things that really you are up close with as you shower. Other than that wed love to boo this place next year. My family had a wonderful time,

Great location

The views were amazing, and short drive to the town. The apartment is good, but nothing exceptional. You’re really paying for the location.

Fabulous View!

The property is close to all Provincetown has to offer, yet in a quiet location. Check in and checkout were a breeze. The line of communication made things very easy. Hopefully we will return!

Nice stay

Had a nice stay at this condo. It’s about a 25 minute walk to all the shops and restaurants but if the weather is fine, it’s not bad. I didn’t give a perfect rating because the condo was outdated with finishings and the coffee maker was kinda cheap and flimsy. Beds were comfortable, and plenty of towels. Nice waterfront view from the living room area.

lovely condo

We loved this little condo - pictures are totally accurate and so wonderful to have such a gorgeous view. Feels even a little more spacious than the photos because the two bedrooms are down a long hallway. We walked to the East End Market multiple times for coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and lunch sandwiches. Also walked to Fanizzi's for a lovely dinner, and all the way into town to hang out and have a delicious lunch at Patio. And can walk down Snail Road and get to the National Seashore! Lovely all around and great friendly neighbors.

The property was nice however..

Everything on the property was nice however the tub did not hold water & during our stay the water company was apparently doing work in the area & was the reason the hot water would only stay hot in the shower for about 5-7 minutes. Besides that everything was great, if those issues were resolved I would consider staying here again.

The property was perfect for our three-day stay in Provincetown, and I would definitely stay here again. The location was good, close enough to Ptown to walk or ride our bikes; the beach is right across the street, and a Tesla supercharger is just around the corner. The place was clean, bright, and quiet. It matched the description and listing pics, so no surprises!

Great location, somewhat dated

The good: This spot is terrific. It's literally across the street from the bay and the view is awesome. It's up one (outdoor) flight, has an outdoor porch facing the water. It has everything you should need. The property is on the line between ptown and truro. There's a shuttle to bring you to/from ptown if you want. You get one parking space right by the condo and can have one guest (in a guest spot) but not for more than 24 hours in the spot. The less good: There are two window ACs, but they only promise "partial." When we got there it was more than 90 degrees and there was one AC in one bedroom, incorrectly installed. We found the other in a closet and installed them both properly but if we hadn't looked, had tools in the car, etc., we would have baked. The beds are horrible. My kid was fine - but adults might want a mattress topper. The hot water runs out fast, which is really surprising in a condo. Plan to spread out showers. The beach across the street is beautiful, but - at low tide it's super-shallow sand bars - really fun for playing in, but you'd have to walk out a thousand feet to get it deep enough to hit your thighs. At high tide, the beach is gone - the tide comes all the way to the (short) staircase to the beach. In between, you can find some more usable times, so watch the tide schedules. If you have kids, low tide is a blast.

Great location, but a few things to know

This is on the line between N. Truro and Provincetown. It's part of a condo complex, but this unit is ideal - it's on the end, facing the bay, and upstairs. It's not immediately on the water - you have to cross Rt. 6A to get to the water. This isn't a big deal, but you should be aware. It's a fairly busy road. There is a short staircase to the beach. But - the beach is only usable half the time. When the tide is high, the beach is basically gone. The water covers the bottom steps of the staircase. This is pretty cool, but watch the tide schedules so you know what to expect. When it's low tide, the beach becomes a collection of sand bars and it's really fun to explore and play in (but don't expect to swim - it's very shallow really far out).We had one AC installed in one of the two bedrooms. It was over 90 degrees while we were there. We found a second AC and installed it in the other bedroom. They're small units but they work. Just note "partial AC" means good luck - there's something, but no guarantees. (Before we found the other unit, we chatted with the support and they basically said "the listing says partial so you get what you get.")It says this condo is "updated." I find that hard to believe. The kitchen and bathroom are not at all modern. I would believe there's new paint, maybe windows, blinds, and decor. There's a porch with small table and 4 chairs facing the bay!

Never will think of staying here again

When I arrived, the carpet in the living room was disgusting - very dirty. I rolled it up and put it aside, afraid to walk on it. I always wash the dishes before use, and I started the dishwasher and all of a suddent there was water and suds all over the floor. There was no mop so I had to use paper towels and bath towels to clean it up. The next morning I pulled back the shower curtain to take my shower and the shower rod came down and hit me in the head. I went to put it back up and tighten it and it would not tighten - obviously whomever is responsible for cleaning would have known it was loose (unless they didn't clean) and yet had no regard for the fact someone could get hurt. I reached out to the company through vrbo - a man came the next day and replaced the rod, could not fix the dishwasher. The oven was caked very thick with black stuff, as were the pots and pans so I could not cook any meals for my son. The people came to clean the oven and could not because of how much stuff was caked in there. There was no other vrbo place they could switch me to, so they said. I thought okay - I must have found everything wrong so now could relax - but the next three days - they were replacing the roof! So much hammering and ripping up - which was never mentioned to me would be happening. I stay in many places in Provincetown to visit my son and this is the worst place ever! I received a very small portion of my money back, it should have been free for all they put me through!

Beware

This listing is inaccurate. Let’s begin with the filthy living room furniture, which we were unable to use for the entire stay. Also, says air conditioned, which is not accurate. There are only two window units in the bedrooms. VRBO and VACASA did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to assist in making things right. I can’t begin to tell you how disappointing this condo was in reality. Vacasa said they would send someone to steam clean and then texted to say there was no team available. This is shocking considering the size of their company. Spent well over three hours with VRBO and they only offered a $150 refund, which their fee was over $300. Vacasa added insult to injury with a $100 refund. I spent over $2800 for this place based on their inaccurate listing. Also, bring your own coat hangers. However, one bedroom closet is packed with crap and has no room for your clothing. The Brady’s from 1970 called and want their condo back. The location is great and there is a beautiful updated condo below this one, which I would highly recommend you rent.
