This is a perfect spot for a family vacation/family reunion. The home can accommodate sleeping up to 20 people in beds. It is located at 63 Webber Rd. York Maine. Only 3/10ths of a mile from Long Sands Beach, 5 min. stroll. At the end of the street is long sands beach which is one of the most beautiful beaches around. At this point you have an incredible view of the famous Nubble Light House to the left. Enjoy hot summer days sitting on the sand or riding the waves.

This beautiful home has an open living concept. You enter the home to a large kitchen family room combo. The large kitchen has all of the amenities you would want for a home including stainless steel appliances, dishwasher and separate beverage refrigerator in an island that seats 4. The large kitchen table accommodates 8-10. Overflow eating is located at the granite pub table which holds up to 4. Connected to the kitchen is a spacious living area with 2 leather couches and 2 very comfortable chairs. This room also has a 55' flat screen television.

The house has 7 large Bedrooms The first floor has two queen size bedrooms and a full bathroom with a tub and shower. This is great for bathing the kids after a long fun day eat the beach. Both bedrooms on the first floor are very spacious and have plenty of room to move around in.

The 2nd floor has 3 bedrooms, sitting room and full bath with a shower and a stackable front loading washer/dryer. The 2nd floor also has a small sitting room with a table to play games at and a 9 foot shuffle board table. This room leads out to an open deck. The 2nd floor also has a screened in porch that can be accessed by either the open deck or an attached Queen bedroom. The second bedroom on this floor not only has a queen bed and a twin bunk bed. The 3rd bedroom on this floor has a king size bed.

The 3rd floor has a large bedroom with a queen-sized bed and 2 sets of bunk beds. The other third floor room has a queen bed. There also is a large bathroom with a 5 foot shower.

Other amenities include: Central air conditioning, gas grill, blender, washer/dryer, lobster pot, coffee maker, Keurig, full size fridge, mini bar fridge in the kitchen for extra beverages. This Kitchen has everything one would ever want.

We are located across the street from the tennis courts, bike park and track at the high school so there are plenty of activities to enjoy but we are separated by woods so you don't see any of it. Group beach stay in York

Our group had a wonderful time staying at this property! The house was spotless and so spacious. We loved grilling out back and walking 5 minutes to the beach down the road. We would absolutely recommend this house and would be thrilled to stay here again!

Favorite VRBO Stay

Each year our family takes a trip to a VRBO. This one was hands down our favorite. A perfect setup for a family get away with a large common area and plenty of bedrooms. A short walk to the beach is a key feature.

Great stay for our youth staff!

Had a great time here with some of our youth staff members from church! It was very refreshing, comfortable, and the location is unmatched. Great value for your stay! Highly recommend and would like to return again.

Great home!

This home was wonderful for our girls weekend!! We had 9 adults and there was plenty of room for everyone! The house was very clean as well. It is .3 miles to long sands beach. A very quick walk. The second floor deck was amazing. Check in was easy and the directions for our stay were perfect. Highly recommend!!

Summer vacation

The house was spectacular. Everyone had their own space and we lived in the kitchen…there was 15 people in all and everyone had a place. We walked to the beach every day. And we enjoyed day trips throughout the week.

Great house and great location

The house is great--was super clean on check-in and had plenty of space for our large group. We especially loved the downstairs--the open kitchen/family room was great for playing games and making meals and hanging out as a group. The house is an easy walk to Long Sands beach, a couple of shops and restaurants, and the surf shop where some in our group rented boards. Bill was super responsive and made sure we were well taken care of during our stay. We liked it so much we plan to rent it again next summer. =)

Great house for a large group

We were a party of 8 adults and 7 children. The house is large enough for everyone to have their space. The children had the 3rd floor to themselves and 4 adult couples had 1 king or 3 queen beds. (and an extra bedroom) Beach was a short walk and the high school fields and tennis courts are right across the street. Great well equipped kitchen. Screened in porch was a great place to hang out at night!

Awesome

It was a family reunion our Children and grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and spouses/boyfriends we all stay in the house which was perfect for all. They had not all been together a the same time for a long time it was just amazing. Cousins that lived near came to spend a day with us at the beach and out in the back yard playing games and sitting by the fire pit! We loved everything about it. The house and Bill the host were great. Plenty of room and located real close to both long sands and short sands. Places to eat on short sands were great! We rent it again in a heart beat! Thanks Bill

Listing Inaccurate/Unclean Conditions

Our accommodations for our 20-person family reunion were disappointing. The listing said that the property could sleep 24 people, however, it only slept 19. As a result, two people in our group had to sleep on an air mattress and one person could not stay at all. The following items were in the listing and/or photos and not in the house: a set of bunk beds, a futon, a couch, an overstuffed chair, a TV, a DVD player, and a travel crib. We also witnessed a mouse appear from in between the foundation and shingles and crawl to the ground. In addition, we discovered mouse droppings on one of the mattress covers on the second floor. Lastly, there was mold in the 2nd floor bathroom above the shower and the vent was completely blocked by dust and debris.

Great Family Rental close to the Beach!

We had a large family group here for Thanksgiving. We had 16 overnight. The house worked out great, the furniture was comfortable. It was very clean, and had just about everything we needed to put on a feast. (We did bring a bunch of serving things just in case) The insides of the kitchen cabinets were labeled so everyone knew where to put things back! The bedrooms were good size, as the description says, enough room in several of them for a pack and play/air mattress. The three full baths were great, no issues with hot water or water pressure. We did not use the screen porch as it was kind of chilly while we were there. The guys used the upstairs sitting room to watch football (we used chairs from the porch, as the sofa was replaced with a long shuffleboard type table), which left the downstairs living are free for others to watch the parade and cook! The location is great, and would be fantastic in the summer. We took a group of the grandkids for a walk to the beach (less than 5 minutes) and collected rocks. We squeezed five cars in the driveway, and parked the other two at the end of the road along the beach. (I'm sure in the summer you wouldn't be able to do this). One thing not mentioned in the listing that could be important, the first bedroom on the third floor is a pass through to get to the other bedroom with two sets of bunk beds. We were all family, so we made it work. All in all, a great house, we would rent here again.

Great place for a big group

Our family gathered together for an early Thanksgiving. We had plenty of space to cook, gather, and play games. The kitchen was pretty well stocked. All the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. We had fun and would return!

Overall, nice house, long table that sat our group of 10 comfortably. Unfortunately, no back or front deck/porch for those that have trouble navigating stairs to second floor porch. Plenty of beds, could use at least another bathroom, or half bath. But again, nice comfortable house in a great location. You will not be disappointed.

My husband is a builder and each year we try to add something to the property to make our guests and ourselves have a more enjoyable vacation.

Why they chose this property

York Maine is an extremely kid friendly vacation spot. York wild animal amusement park is less than 2 miles from the property. Sort sands beach, which is less than 2 mi away, contains a fenced in playground, quaint shops, restaurants and a bowling alley.

What makes this property unique

We enjoy having fun filled days of boogie boarding or making sandcastles in the sun. we then love to get ice cream up the street in the afternoon with the kids. The best part is after a fun filled day at the beach making the kids a pizza for dinner and my husband and I taking a walk down the beach to have dinner just the 2 of us. Our house is close enough to the beach to walk but far enough away from the commotion of the beach to have quiet privacy when it is wanted.
