We walked in to a lovely smell. Cute furniture and decor. Loved the backyard - hot tub was relaxing! Would be great if your group includes small children, nice playground area. The house is right off a main thoroughfare but has a turnaround for easy access in and out of the property. Would love to come back!
We loved our stay here! It’s a deceptively spacious home with a fabulous back yard. My teens loved the hot tub and fire pit! This place had everything to make the stay comfortable, from extra pillows to bug spray to nice laundry machines to garage parking. It’s not really in a walkable area but it is close driving distance to everything. Thank you!

Not the Vacation Destination we Expected!
Rented this property for a Softball Tournament and decided to make a mini vacation with the adult children as well. We had never been to Holland so we were looking forward to a home away from home experience. The house accommodated the 6 of us for sleeping and dining only. The sheets/towels were clean & white. The master bedroom had a King which was nice touch. The 2nd bedroom was a queen & accommodating for 2 adults, 3rd bedroom with twin beds were not large enough for adults/teens and very squeaky and uncomfortable. Main bath was large/plenty of towels and clean, but broken toilet seat. 2nd bath was extremely small, shower smelled of mildew (nowhere to put hygiene products) & toilet seat also broken. Dining table large enough for 8. The kitchen was my first disappointment. The cabinets inside and out were very dirty, sink and & appliance were not very clean & very minimal supplies. I clorax wiped everything before I cooked. The kitchen needs a deep cleaning. The living room furniture was very uncomfortable and not a place we felt we could settle in at night and watch a movie. The road is extremely BUSY/LOUD for sleeping and getting in/out of driveway. Backyard had a hot tub that was clean, and adult children used it. The patio furniture is a little tattered/uncomfortable. Swing and Firepit was a nice touch. I felt for the price I paid for this house was not up to par for a vacation destination. House close to State Park. Needs some updating with furniture and cleaning.

Our vacation stay
I will be as honest and thorough as I can with this review. This is not the first time visiting the holland area, but was the first time staying at this property. The online listing makes the home appear very nice. To be clear, it's an older property (maybe built in the 50's), with some updates here and there. What is deceiving however is the front of the property and the location, which you do not get until after booking. It is on a busy street, and appears much smaller (like a small ranch when you pull up). Not a deal breaker. We were surprised with the cleanliness of the home however. The floors did not seem very clean like they were thoroughly swept or vacuumed. We could not even find one to attempt to clean up a little ourselves, other than a dust pan and broom. The living room couch had quite a bit of dog hair on it and the living room rug could have used a good cleaning as well. Moving on to inspecting the beds next, some of the mattresses had several stains on them, some looking like blood stains, so that was not a comfortable feeling. We all laid extra sheets down to lay in them at night to add some extra protection.
The back yard is what makes this home (5 stars there). The close proximity to downtown Holland, shops and Holland state park and beach is also a plus for it.
