We’re so glad you enjoyed the peaceful setting and mountain views, William! There’s something special about being able to slow down and take in the scenery. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we’d be happy to welcome you back anytime.
Cozy stay in a great location! The views from the porch are beautiful. We traveled with our two pups and toddler and the available pack n play was great.
The hose was extremely clean and stocked with the little necessities that were needed. The views were impressive and awe inspiring to wake up too. Parking was adequate and close to the house which is good when unloading and loading up suitcases from the car. The owners responded quickly with any questions or issues that I had. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a nice place to stay while visiting the area.

Sherry, we’re sorry to hear that the temperature and overall comfort of the home didn’t meet your expectations. We do wish we had known about the cooling concern during your stay, as we would have been happy to help at the time.
The home does not have central A/C, as disclosed in the listing. It does, however, have portable A/C units available in two bedrooms, as well as ceiling fans and box fans in every bedroom. The home is also surrounded by trees, and the bedrooms have access to windows and outdoor air for natural ventilation. We were therefore surprised to hear that the rooms felt closed off or lacked circulation.
We’re especially sorry to hear that the portable A/C wasn’t providing the cooling you needed. Had we known, we would have sent someone out to check the unit for you. We’ve since gone ahead and had it checked to make sure it is functioning properly for future guests.
We also appreciate your feedback about the beds. We understand that mattress comfort is very personal, but we value hearing where there may be opportunities to improve. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us.
We really enjoyed our stay and found the place to be comfortable, cozy, and in a beautiful location. It had everything we needed for a relaxing trip. There are just a few areas that could use some attention. We noticed a few cobwebs, the baseboards could have been cleaned better, the sofa needed a quick vacuum, and the oven had leftover baked-on residue when we arrived. The road leading to the property is also a bit rough, with several potholes that could use filling.Overall, these were relatively minor issues and didn’t take away from our trip. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the property. With a little extra attention to cleaning and routine maintenance, this would easily be a 5-star stay.
