You could do no better than time along the porch, the river, or lying on your back as the shockingly clear and starry night glitters with the planets. The house is a restored farmhouse, set along a quiet country road on the St. George peninsula, which to many feels more like an island without the hassles of a ferry or crowds but with a feeling that you are rediscovering your family's porch on a summer evening.
