Check in was easy. Location was great for us- close to downtown. Had an issue with poor water pressure and was addressed promptly. Kitchen does need more supplies for those who stay as long as we did.
The property was very well kept, clean and comfortable. It was very quiet and peaceful. The main reason to come to Sarasota for a first visit was to see our granddaughter. She is going to college at Ringling College of Art and Design. We walked to most of the places we wanted to see when she was in class which was a joy to us. Thank you Lisa for the communication with us too!
The location of this home really helped. I loved how close we were to the heart of the city and access to all other areas we were interested to visit. Could not ask for a better location. The home itself still needs some attention. It's a bit run down looking on the exterior and the screened in porch is a bit weathered. The inside was clean and the bed was relatively comfortable. The kitchen was functional but could use some niceties. One note, there is no dishwasher if you plan on cooking.
This home is located in a very quiet and walking area of Laurel Park. Easy walking access to downtown Sarasota restaurants and shops. The interior layout is perfect for a couple (does have a roll away bed for a third person/child, but might be a bit tight and would have to place the bed in the living area. The exterior of the home does need some attention. There is a nice front porch to sit and back screened area which also has a washer and dryer. The back screened porch doesn't have much of a view but at least a place to sit and relax.Should you need anything during your stay, the Property Manager was very pleasant, accommodating and prompt to help.

The building is poorly maintained. Plumbing problems during our 6 day stay. Window box air conditioning was loud. Water condensation from the a/c flowed all over the back lanai rug. The “lania” back porch had a view of the multiple trash cans. The towels were in poor condition. The host did rectify the plumbing issue however it was inconvenient during our stay.Weather was good.
We're an older couple visiting family, and are very familiar with Sarasota. There was a cold snap (Jan) during our stay.Upside: The location was charming, right in the heart of downtown, the decor was fresh and attractive, the bed was very comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. The heating system worked fine on the cold nights we were there.Downside: the kitchen could have used a just few more welcoming amenities, like some sugar packets and a small bottle of water for the coffee. We wanted to wash a small load of clothes before leaving, but the washer wouldn't fill properly, even for a water-conserving model.I would say a good value for the amount we paid, just needs a few tweaks. We'd enjoyed our stay and would rent it again.
The place was great and the neighborhood quiet. Our only problem was the washing machine which was indeed broken. When I was communication with the property manager they were so nonchalant about the probem. I know it was 7 am in the morning but we really needed the spin cycle to work to get the clothes dry. They wanted me to U-tube the issue and fix it myself. We ended up ringing the clothes out before drying them. It was just an unfortunate dilemma but we got through it.
