This house had a lovely view and the inside was clean. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fairly well equipped. It was very convenient to Edmonds and close to a State Park.
Fantastic view and great location in a quiet neighborhood, just what we were looking for. It was also very close to Richmond Beach park where we took daily walks during our stay. Our host was also very responsive to our needs during our visit.
What a fantastic view!!! Beds uber comfy.Only suggestions 1) get more comfortable seating in living area 2) include photos of very steep staircase. As I use a cane and/or rollator- would have impacted decision. When bad weather delayed our departure- host was very welcome to extend our stay!
Loved your charming house with the beautiful view. Thanks for hosting and offering your place - very much enjoyed it and sad to leave! The garbage bins outside were quite full, so we have left it in the kitchen. Everything else should be fairly tidy for you. Thanks again!
It’s been hard to find a neighborhood (place to stay) in the shoreline for us. Either not big enough for a family of 6 or not sure how safe we would feel but I found the perfect place for this visit. The area was nice and quiet, not a bunch of cars going by. The view was amazing. Check in and check out was super easy. Overall pretty fun and easy trip to visit our son in college.
This is a mixed review that could have been five stars. The location and view were tremendous (we used to live nearby). Unfortunately, the host notified us on Friday that due to a “technical difficulty with VRBO” she had accidentally double-booked the place on a different platform so we needed to move out Saturday instead of the following Tuesday. Our family agreed to do so within 24 hours (a night she made complimentary), but even this was difficult for five people with different schedules, and one recovering from shoulder surgery. The last-minute change caused a great deal of stress for me as the trip planner; in 20 years of using short-term rentals, I’ve never been kicked out, let alone for a problem we did not cause, but we rolled with it. The home was the ideal location for our family to meet over New Year’s.Needing attention: 1. upstairs bathroom sink knob. Hot water starts randomly, needs to be tightened below the sink (didn’t have tools to do more than manual snugging it up).2. Kitchen needs a cheese grater and vegetable peeler3. Freezer needs ice cube trays. We often needed ice and had none handy.Thank you for the Keurig K-cups. We left the extras we purchased, as well as a 5-pound bag of sugar. Thanks also for the in-shower shampoo, conditioner and body wash. These helped our family member operating with one arm in a cast.

This home’s description is not accurate. There is NO AC in this house. I specifically searched for homes that have ac, since I am aware that most homes in Seattle do not have it. We arrived on Thursday evening and discovered that the “ac” is actually floor fans and a portable ac unit. If this is a dealbreaker for you, I’m glad to have helped you out before you made the same mistake I did. Even though the temps were ok at night, the afternoon suns shines directly into the living area all day, heating up the space and making it unbearably warm. The portable ac unit does not cool the room until the sun sets (this time of year, that’s almost 10 pm). If the AC isn’t a problem for you, this house is fine but still very overpriced. There are no amenities, nothing is within walking distance, and the house is tired and in need of upkeep. It has gorgeous views of the water, but the deck boards are so old that they flex under your feet. The curtains are cheap mini blinds which do nothing to keep the sun or the heat out. The kitchen is not very well stocked. I expected more from this home given the price point, but if all you care about is a roof and walls, then this is the place for you!
This was a lovely spot. There was a mix up with the cleaners so it was not perfect when we got there but the host was easily contacted and resolved the situation in a timely manner.
