We have styled our home with Hawaiian Contemporary design with Room and Board, Crate and Barrel and The Beach House Kihei decor with touches of Hue and several Local Designers and Artists.

Located in South Kihei in the BLDG 5 on of the best Building in Kamaole Sands with Ocean Views and directly across from the golden sand and crystal waters at Kamaole III and perfectly located in the complex next to one of the 2 pool so easy access for kids (can`t see pool from condo). Our home is your home away from home with all the basics in the pantry. We personally respond quickly to your requests and have a on island contact and cleaner if you need anything locally.

Kamaole Sands is a sort after complex incredibly maintained with 2 Pools one is for the kids, 2 Hot Tubs, 4 Tennis courts + Fitness with 15 acres of tropical landscaping and freshwater pools that makes you feel like you are in a five star resort. We love being able to run out our front door and along the beaches only 2 mins away! The Sunsets are the best, when you are sitting on the Lanai sipping a Mai Tai and taking in the palms tree horizon and tropical flowers while watching the sunset in the distance. 2 AC’s in the condo to cool you at night.

SLEEPS 6- King Master Bedroom with super comfy mattress and private smart TV, private access to the fully renovated full contemporry bathroom with all the little things you might have forgotten. Living room features a drop down comfy Murphy Queen Bed and a pull out queen couch. Guest shower fully renovated with contemporary feel. All the linens and pillows provided.

There are three very famous Beach Parks in Kihei; they are known as Kamaole I, II, and III. All three offer golden sand and crystal waters along the south shore of Kihei. Kamaole III, located across from Kamaole Sands, is known for its large park area. Numerous local beaches to choose from my favorite is Keawakapu Beach known as the best beach in Maui is 5 min stroll, where you can snorkel along its rocky northern terminus, boogie board or take long tropical beach walks. Ulua is another local beach known for great scuba diving, snorkeling and boogie boarding.

South Kihei has some of Maui’s best restaurants and quick eats. There are five shopping centers just a short walk away and they all offer dining options. Whether you are dining in or out, there is something for every budget and every appetite. Located in the Rainbow Mall, ‘Café O Lei’ is Kihei’s number one lunch spot with their famous daily Fish Special, and a top pick for dinner with fresh fish, top cut steaks and daily sushi specials. Within a couple of blocks you will find Freds Mexican Restaurant, 808 Deli for sandwiches and salads to go, and 808 Bistro for Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The Shopping in South Kihei in cute boutiques and souvenir shops, all within walking distance.

Had a great 10 day stay at this 2nd floor condo with ocean views and great pool access. Lots of attention to detail and nothing overlooked - pool toys and tons of beach toys for the kids, Tommy Bahama chairs and umbrella, boogie boards, snorkels, softsided cooler, portable Bluetooth speaker, Sonos speakers, stocked kitchen.. this place has it all. Tastefully renovated with lots of space and the Murphy bed is a plus for extra space. We were a family of 4 with a 8 and 6 year old and would rent this unit again in a heartbeat. The Dowell's have are great hosts!

The condo was beautifully decorated and a great kitchen full of cooking equipment. It was enjoyable to cook at the condo as everything was there and more ! The King size bed was very comfortable and I truly enjoyed the quality of the bedding ! All the extras are there for going to the beach so no need to worry about having to rent things The parking spot is very close to the stairs so no need to use the elevator except for when you arrive with your luggage. Great place to stay we will be back

Nicely updated condo in Kamaole Sands

We always stay at Kamaole Sands as it’s location in Kihei is second to none. The condo itself was nicely decorated with a relatively new renovation. It was stocked with all the necessities to have a great vacation. The owner, Mandy was great with any and all communication. The only thing more I could have asked for would have been a quiet heat pump instead of the two somewhat noisy air conditioners. Overall, I would definitely recommend this condo.

Amazing Condo

My family was very impressed with our stay! The condo was clean and updated. What set this condo apart from our previous stays was all the amenities. Snorkel gear, boogie boards, four beach chairs, a Yeti cooler, beach towels, toiletries including shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, and a kitchen stocked with all of the appliances and dishes we needed. We enjoyed home made cinnamon rolls on our first morning! Would recommend this condo to anyone, and look forward to potentially staying here again on our next trip.

Overall it was an enjoyable place to stay. The apartment was modern and nicely furnished. The property is a 5 min walk to the beach. The owner has done a great job laying out all of the property details and such in the guest book. Midrange to upscale restaurant, cafes , coffee bars, and grocery stores, were a little further away than we anticipated for a casual morning stroll or an evening walk. Also the bath room towels were a bit mildewy smelling. However, there was access to a washer and dryer so that was easily sorted.

Beautiful updated condo in a very nice location. We enjoyed morning walks on the beach and trails that link them. It was a good location to get to all the tour spots. Hana, Haleakala, Paia, Lahaina. We did spend more time in Lahaina than Kihei but we did a lot of diving, Luau and whale watch there. Master and Murphy bed are very comfortable- pull out is a standard pull out that works well for kids. Really appreciated the cooler, chairs, beach towels and carrying bag!

The condo is beautiful! The photos of the view do not do it justice, it's a great view of the property and the ocean. Our one complaint is that the A/C is on a four-hour timer. It's thermostat set so I don't understand the need for the timer. This timer would go off every night and wake us up. We'd have to get up and restart it or the condo would get too warm. Otherwise, it's a great place and we would definitely stay here again!

Mandy’s condo was fantastic, and a perfect fit for our young family of 5 with the Murphy bed and pull out couch. The pool was a 1 minute walk downstairs, and the beautiful Kamaole Beach Park was less than a 5 minute walk across the street. There was a hula show at the pool one night, and don’t forget to try a yummy Hula Cookie. The condo had everything we needed for the week - beach towels, umbrella, wagon, pool toys, snorkel gear, boogie boards, Bogg bag, Yeti cooler, extra sunscreen, plus so much more! The condo is only a 6 minute drive to the Te Au Moana luau so you can enjoy a Mai Tai or two without a long drive back across the island. The restaurants near Kamaole Sands were some of our favorites during our whole trip - Coconuts Fish Cafe, Threes Bar & Grill (go during happy hour), Ululani's Shave Ice. Mandy has many more suggestions across the island. The condo is close to several grocery stores. Check out the Ross down the street for some cute souvenirs for the kids - stuffed animals, puzzles, key chains, etc, as well as all the luau attire. Mahalo for sharing your beautiful home with us. We had a great first trip to Maui and can’t wait to return!

Kihei Condo

The condo was clean and updated. The grounds were beautifully and sustainably landscaped. The property was active and lively with people playing frisbee on the lawn, gym facilities, pool, tennis courts and events, etc. We were woken up by a wild rooster every morning which seems to be a thing in Hawaii. The king-size bed was comfortable, but the springy old fashioned pull-out sofa did a number on my back. Although we did not like the touristy and crowded area of Kihei, it was geographically well-situated to see many beautiful places on the island. I was surprised that the air conditioners were on a timer and went off in the middle of the night and that we were required to wash and fold the beach towels, which we did, but we appreciated having the beach amenities, like towels, and beach chairs. The host provided lots of information before our visit. The price was very reasonable and if you're going to stay in Kihei this is a very good option.

I would give it 10 star if I could !

This condo was amazing ! From the check in to the checkout, everything was perfect ! We travelled, me and my husband with my cousin and we were super comfortable i this immaculate condo. We rented many condos in the past and I would say that this one is by far the most equipped and well maintained condo we've ever seen ! It's close to many shops and restaurants, a quick 15 minutes drive to Costco, Target or other large surface stores. The pool was always clean and we felt very safe. We had plenty of beach chairs and coller to go to the beach. The ONLY thing I can say that we missed is a bottle opener but i'm pretty sure they had one and someone just left with it... I would not only go back to this condo but I would move in it ! The owner was super responsive and the employee who greeted is at the reception was extremely friendly and super helpful. We will be back one day for sure ! Mahalo !

We had such a wonderful stay in this unit! The view in this unit is much better than the photos show. The place was stocked with all the bathroom toiletries, launder soaps, pantry and kitchen tools you could ever need which has not been the case when we have stayed at other properties at Kamaole Sands. We loved the updated unit, comfortable master bed and murphy bed, beautiful decor and coastal vibe throughout! The large Yeti cooler, chairs, umbrella, wagon cart, boogie boards, goggles and JBL bluetooth speaker made our beach days so much more enjoyable and easy getting to/from the unit daily. We have stayed in many Kamaole Sands units and this unit has been our favorite so far. The only downside to the unit is the pull-out bed on the couch has seen better days and could be replaced. Our kids did not complain but teens/adults would not sleep well on it. Thank you, Amanda and family, for making our stay so comfortable and going above and beyond stocking your unit so your guests feel at home while they are away! We can't wait to come back again and stay in your unit.

We have been coming to Maui for 22 years and feel in love with the Sunsets, Beaches and relaxing vibe of the Islands.The Palms #1905 has been in our family for 25 years and boys have grown up vacating here. We have recently become the owners and also bought The Palms #201 then #178 in Grand Champions if you are interested in our other condos.

We live in Colorado but have owned mutli vacation homes- on the Sunshine Coast in Australia and Winter Park, CO so we know the little extras it takes to have 5 star rental.

Why they chose this property

Kamaole Sands is incredibly maintained and the landscaping makes you feel like you are in Resort. We fell in love with the views from the Lanai. We love being able to run out our front door and along the beaches only 7 mins away! The Sunsets are the best on the Lanai with Palms trees framing the view and throws the clouds with all shades of colors.

What makes this property unique

Our home is your home away from home with all the basics in the pantry. We personally respond quickly to your requests and have a on island contact and cleaner if you need anything locally.
