Loved this house! Just book it! Easily walkable to everywhere. Amazing views. Great hammock. Lovely host. Clean. We played the games made s’mores in fire pit. Loved coming home to this wonderful house!

Great spot for a homebase to hike the area. Short walk to coffee, restaurants and shops. Cutely decorated and everything you need! Host was responsive and easy. Recommend!

Perfect Summer Getaway

This place is so cute, clean and the perfect location in Grand Marais. It had everything our family of four needed for a long weekend. It is walking distance to all of the great restaurants and shops in town and a short drive to beautiful hikes. We highly recommend this gem of a place. Thank you so much!

Perfect location to enjoy grand marais

The view from the comfortable living room was fantastic. We spent evenings around the fire pit. The home is compact, but fully appointed. We had everything we needed and loved the extra touches like the vase of fresh flowers. Plus it was close to everything with a great restaurant across the street.

Perfect little stay

This is the perfect cozy little house for a getaway to Grand Marais. It was the perfect size for our family of 4. Everything was very clean and the host was very responsive to any questions or requests. The Fika coffee by the coffee pot was the perfect finishing touch.

Such a perfect, cozy spot overlooking the harbor and RIGHT ACROSS from North House Folk School! We had everything we needed, including cozy bathrobes.

Lovely little spot on the bay

This place was so charming, starting with a wonderful greeting upon our arrival by MaryKate. We loved the location with the view of the bay and easy walk to so many awesome spots - easy walk to the point, Voyager Brewery, Angry Trout Cafe, etc - in Grand Marais. Kitchen space was perfect for two to dine in as well. Finished off our stay with a lovely fire that the owners set up for us the final evening. Loved our stay!

Cozy spot

We had a wonderful stay. Knowing that the temperatures would dip below zero, our host put flannel sheets on the beds. This rental was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we were looking for. Too cold for a fire this time but next time I would love to sit by the fire and enjoy the beautiful view!

Best view in town!

My 2 daughters and I enjoyed our stay at this updated and charming house with a dynamite location! The owners made so many thoughtful decisions to make the rental feel cozy and comfortable. I grew up in Grand Marais and the view out the living room window is the best in town. Highly recommend!

Best Place in Grand Marais

You open up the blinds and Grand Marais Harbor and Lake Superior are right there in all their glory. What a way to start the day! This place is charming and very well decorated. You have two great restaurants across the street and downtown is easy walking distance. MaryKate is a friendly and attentive host and a lot of fun to visit with. No place better for your stay in beautiful Grand Marais.

Idyllic Location, View and Stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at this super well-appointed, designed and laid out home. Our family makes an annual trip up to Grand Marais and we spent 5 nights there. Waking up and opening the blinds to the beautiful view of the harbor and lighthouses was one of the highlights of my trip this year. This place is very comfy and provides you with everything you need for your stay. And yes, location is perfect! Short block walk from downtown shops and restaurants. Host was welcoming and accommodating. Loved it!

Walkable cottage

We loved our stay at this home. We stayed in Gran Marais and drove up to the Canadian border for day trips. It is centrally located, and you can walk to restaurants, a brewery, and craft studios. The view out the front windows is magical with the lighthouse, Lake Superior and seagulls. The host left us supplies for a campfire. Recommend this home and hosts.

Lovely home across from Lake Superior

MaryKate's home was lovely with beautiful views of the lake/harbor. The location couldn't be better! MaryKate had thoughtful touches like the firepit stocked and ready to go, fresh cut flowers on the table, and Fika coffee for the morning. There was also a stocked game closet that our kids really enjoyed.

Grand View

Wow! Talk about attention to detail! Such a wonderful home...very comfortable and nicely decorated! The host thought of everything....special local coffee, I am a tea drinker and there was an electric hot water kettle....close to town...easy access to shopping and the gun flint trail. Our host even set up a fire for us! Incredible views! Will definitely be back!

Ideal Location & Great Layout

We were in town with our extended family and this VRBO was wonderful. We were able to set up the back bedroom for our 6mnth old to sleep/nap in while back to relax in the front living room or outside by the fire. We were also able to host our extended family over for some smores and hot dogs over the camp fire. The location is right on the edge of the commercial district and has the same ease of getting around as anywhere else in town. We also got to meet MaryKate when checking in which was a nice touch to learn a little bit more about the accommodations and whom we were renting from. Traffic noise was an initial concern but was a complete non-issue. Would stay here again without any hesitation!
