This cozy and comfortable unit is one of two units located in a private home in a residential area on the Atlantic Ocean at Fernandina Beach, Amelia Island, Florida. These two units, on the first floor of this home, provide a quiet, restful atmosphere far from the noise and activity of hotel or condo vacations.

The owners occupy the second floor, are available for any assistance, but are completely unobtrusive. The second unit in this home is a two bedroom and can be viewed at VRBO 221163. Rented together, eight guests can be accommodated. Please e-mail or call if interested in both units.

Each unit has its own private entrance, exits, grill, covered porches and decks.

This is a no smoking facility both inside and outside.

Located in a quiet residential area, this one bedroom, two bath unit provides a quiet and relaxing getaway to a beach that is never crowded. This unit was completely remodeled and features new appliances, furniture and jetted tub in the master bath.

The second bath is equipped with a roomy shower', Sliding glass doors from the living room open to the covered outdoor dining / sitting area. The attached sunning deck leads to the protective walkover to the beach.

We love this property. This is our 4th stay and it never disappoints, We come from New England and by March we are sick of being bottled up inside.There are so many outdoor areas where you can get outside no matter what the weather. The large, well furnished porch protects you from the sun and rain and a sheltered area with lounge chairs protects you from the wind. There is a firepit area with chairs and a swing and a new putting green with artificial turf. Best of all is the well maintained boardwalk down to long sandy Fernandina Beach. Inside the kitchen has a glass topped electric stove and dishwasher and enough pots and pans to cook a meal. The bed is comfortable, the house is clean, the washer and dryer are wonderful. There are 2 tvs, one in the living room and a huge one in the bedroom. There also are lots of possabilties for interesting day trips in the area. Our favorites are Okefenoke National Wild Life Refuge, St Augustine, Cumberland Island and the Jacksonville Zoo.

Oceanfront pet friendly perfection

My stay was again amazing. We stayed last year in this rental and was so impressed we booked it again for this year. Very well equipped apartment and plenty of towels for the stay. Amelia Island is a small, unspoiled barrier island with a beautiful Victorian village. Almost everything on the island is within five minutes drive. Locals are friendly and helpful. If you need a bigger city 'fix', Jacksonville is only 45 minutes away.
