We spent 5 days and enjoyed everything about this property. Communication was prompt, friendly, and helpful! With plenty of space, after a day of exploring Durango, it had a home atmosphere to relax in the evenings. We would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Durango.
The views from this condo are amazing! The location was perfect for our visit to Mesa Verde NP, the Durango and Silverton Railway, and the million dollar highway. The town of Durango has so much to offer, and this house was convenient to all of it. It was furnished nicely and was very comfortable.
The location was great very close to downtown Durango. Condo was well furnished with anything you might need. The only downside was having to climb several flights of stairs since there is no elevator available. All of us being in our 70s made that a bit difficult.

Thanks for your review Steve. We're glad that you enjoyed the unit! We do want to note that the stairs are mentioned multiple times throughout the description of the listing. We think that the views from the unit make all of the steps worth it :)
We came for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Property Manager was amazing and very responsive. Location was great and accommodations were wonderful.
We loved this place and enjoyed our time there. We would go back. The views from the top were amazing especially with the fall colors and the fog from the weekend.
Well equipped with convenient location to College and downtown

This home was nice and clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Bathrooms were clean and the bed linens were nice. We were not told that we would have to climb 7 flights of stairs to get to our accommodations and that there was another flight of stairs to get from the bedrooms to the kitchen and living room.

Thanks for your review Charlcie. The listing description does mention the number of steps required to access the unit, and also that it's a two level unit. We're glad you enjoyed your stay though!
If you can handle the 45 steps, this is a great place to stay. Near campus, well-stocked kitchen (even spices!), soap and shampoo in the bathrooms (at least when we were there). Excellent view. If you want to bring bikes, there is a bike rack under the building west of this unit. There was a video game table in the unit when we stayed there, which we really enjoyed.
Very clean and nice. Owner gave great directions but the unit number is still hard to find. The unit numbering system makes no sense.

Condo was conveniently located. The cleanliness needed work. It was apparent that the floors were not cleaned well making it feel not guest ready.
The beds were very uncomfortable and pillows were low quality. This is one of the most important features of a guest stay. Invest in a name brand mattress and comfortable pillows and it will make a world difference for future guests.
Putting in a few bottles of water and include a welcome note. This would make your guests feel a bit more welcome. Small touches make a difference!
In your description online be more transparent about the 4 level of stairs you have to climb up. We were traveling with an elderly individual who experienced great difficulty getting to and from the unit.
Remember you are in hospitality - cleanliness, a comfortable nights sleep and a feeling of being welcomed is important
The amount of stairs leading up to the condo was not disclosed. Shower heads are very low with very low water pressure.

Hi Karen - the number of stairs is listed within the unit description. Is it possible you missed this information when booking? We never heard from you regarding the water pressure, but maybe there was user error as this is the first complaint we've had regarding water pressure.
The condo was very clean and a home away from home feeling. The area was very nice and very close to the shops and restaurants on Main St. We loved our stay.
Only negative things is the door lock didn't work consistently so we used the key which was easier. The floors are really slick and I don't recommend wearing socks on the stairs, super slick. I fell down the stairs our 1st night there and wasn"t able to enjoy our activities or the vacation due to a back injury.
We will still stay here again as we did enjoy the condo and the view, but we know not to wesr socks inside lol
The condo was comfortable and well equipped. No complaints at all. We enjoyed our stay, location is convenient to town. We would stay here again and recommend it to other travelers.
One note; (not a complaint) there are 4 flights of stairs to get to the condo. This was accurately described in the listing so was no surprise. It snowed about 8-9” our first night, so navigating the stairs was an adventure. Just something to be aware of…
