This is one of the best and cutest rentals I’ve ever stayed in. It FAR exceeds the pictures. Beautifully decorated with so many interesting antiques and special touches and it’s in a great, walkable neighborhood. I would absolutely stay here again.
We stayed for a week. We loved the location, the home, the property and the history behind the home and community. Hosts were very timely with responses when needed.
A fantastic home on the end of a quiet street with accommodating and friendly owners. A picturesque and magical New England experience. All the amenities a family needs with an abundance of curation and charm.

So happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for your kind words. Hope to host you in the future! Best, Abbey & Stephania
Very comfortable historic home on a nice quiet street. We especially enjoyed the outdoor deck surrounded by big beautiful trees. Perfect for our family visit.
My mom and I visited for maple fest and this was the perfect location! Only a 15 min walk from the downtown and a super quiet place to stay. We were obsessed with the decor and how cute everything was. The house was immaculate and everything we needed.
Absolutely beautiful home. Extremely clean with wonderfully updated kitchens and baths. House was within walking distance of beautiful parks, dog parks, and a very short drive to shops a restaurants in St. Albans city. Host were so organized a responsove. 5 stars, would stay again!
This property really is a hidden gem. My wife and I stayed here for almost a month, to come back and enjoy the area that used to be our home. The absolutely stunning historic home and property allowed us to enjoy modern kitchen and bath facilities, as well as relax on the expansive grounds, and large rear deck. Being able to have our friends visit us, enjoy the outdoors, indoors, peace and serenity, was such a blessing. We will definitely return here again. Thank you so much for your hospitality, Abbey!
We had a wonderful stay at Winnie's Place. Abbey was wonderful to communicate with, and every detail was thought through. The mattresses were comfy, the kitchen was well stocked, and all rooms were beautifully decorated. We've already planned our trip back!
Winnie’s Place provided both comfortable, updated accommodations and perfect location to town and to family. It is a lovely property both inside and out and allowing a pet was an added bonus. Have already recommended it to other family members. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Lovely Home within walking distance of Main Street
Cozy home that is well equipped. Kitchen is stocked with equipment for any culinary adventure. Quiet neighborhood, great wi-fi connection, and easy walk to town with sidewalks. Truly enjoyed our stay!
The house was so very warm and inviting. We loved it. Beautifully decorated and clean. We would definitely recommend Abbey’s place to any of our friends.
My husband and I and our dog loved the house and property. Its history and all the antiques were fascinating but it had all the modern conveniences that you would expect like updated bathrooms and kitchen. And the St. Albans area is beautiful with lots to do.
This home is absolutely gorgeous in every way! It allowed me to spend quality time with my daughter and grandson who live in that area and I only get to see once per year. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet and close to St Albans center. This is a definite 10 star property! Absolutely hoping it is available for my opportunity to visit them
This is a lovely home, stunningly renovated in the most beautiful garden, at the end of a quiet residential Cul de Sac. The home is spacious, comfortable and elegant, and fully equipped with everything anyone could need.
we had a super time and hugely recommend it.
we also loved St Albans.
The house was perfect for our visit. We came to St. Albans to visit family. The location was so convenient. It was easy to get to shopping and to see our family. The house has been updated very nicely. It is such a great combination of modern features and antique charm. We will definitely try to stay there again!
Enjoyed downtown especially the park, the bookstore and all the restaurants. Had a really great lunch at Jeff’s Fish. Took the dog to the dog park unfortunately no small dogs to play with.
This was a great location for us to enjoy the Vermont Maple Festival ! We were just a few minutes away from all the activities that we came to see and do. We had a few questions and the hosts responded very quickly. It would be a great place in the summer with kids! Big yard and on a quiet dead end street.
Lovingly restored properly. Photo’s don’t do justice … it really is quaint and feels very homely. Lots of space and lovely huge garden. Would definitely recommend.
Exactly as described in the listing. Beautiful inside and out. Property manager responsive and friendly. Significantly improved my quality of life compared to other stays in the area. Plan to book anytime I'm in the area and the house is available.
