Great spot for a girls’ weekend!

Loved this spot for a weekend getaway with a couple friends. The view from the front porch is spectacular, and the house itself is super cozy. We’d definitely come back again!

Cozy & Beautiful

This house was such a great place to stay! The inside is absolutely beautiful with so much character. The neighborhood was so nice and peaceful, and pup loved running around the backyard! We would most definitely stay again. Thank you to the wonderful hosts!

Peaceful with views

Joel and Cindy‘s home is wonderful. The enclosed backyard was private and allowed our pooch to feel extra comfortable. The sunsets and views of the ocean are incredible. We were very comfortable.

Hope House Happy

This place was perfect for us. It's very spacious and has lots of light & gorgeous high ceilings. A huge yard in back & a huge patio in front. Lots of amenities are there for use as well- games, puzzles, boogie boards, coolers, beach towels, to name a few. Enjoyed our stay!

Felt very much at home Feeling in the house was peaceful and relaxed Location was perfect. Everything needed is available only minutes away. Nice established neighborhood. Very quite at night.

Nice stay

Good stay, property as described. FYI for future renters, construction is underway next door starting at 7am weekdays. We were up by 7 daily so were ok, but would be difficult to sleep in while underway.

Beds were very comfortable. House was clean and well equipped. Location was great for my needs doing last minute holiday shopping and visiting family nearby. Walked to a pickle ball facility. Had an issue with the door code when I arrived and it was resolved within minutes. Nice view. Off street parking was a plus. I'd stay here again.

Friends Getaway

My group had a great time at the house! Everything was clean. Owners answered questions quickly. I also love that there were extra curling irons in the bathroom because someone in my group forgot theirs. We will stay here again if we ever get out this way again.

A perfect stay

My husband, fur babies and I thoroughly enjoyed our second visit to Hope House. The calm and peaceful feeling of the House welcomes you as soon as you open the door. It is thoughtfully furnished with everything you may need and the beds are super comfy. You can sit on the front patio to enjoy the sea air or on the back patio for a few quiet moments. The location provides easy access to everything San Diego has to offer, The host is a great communicator and readily accessible. Perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hope House. Our daughter flew in from out of state to surprise me for Mother's Day and Joel was wonderful about making sure we had an extra bed (futon) delivered to our door step for my daughter. The beds were very comfortable and we loved the backyard and BBQ grill. We especially enjoyed the deck in the evening and in the mornings where we would admire the ocean view. Very close to grocery stores, shopping and the beach. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We had a wonderful time!

Why they chose this property

Hope House is located on a quiet street close to the beach, restaurants, coffee shops, and hiking trail with easy access to Interstate 5. The property is kid and pet friendly with a large fenced, private back yard and a beautiful front deck with oceans views.
