We had an amazing stay at this beautiful lake house! It was the perfect mix of fun, relaxation, and quality family time. The property is very secluded, which made it such a peaceful escape from the busy and noisy world around us. While it’s a bit of a drive, it is absolutely worth it to explore the Lake of the Ozarks area and enjoy everything the town has to offer. The host was wonderful—extremely helpful, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our trip. This home provided the perfect setting for family memories, quiet mornings, and relaxing evenings by the lake!If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with plenty of family fun and a chance to truly unwind, this is the place to stay. We will most definitely visit again!
Comfortable and large enough for our family of 5. Owner was helpful and available. Beautiful view of the lake from the deck, a nice spot for morning coffee. Verizon cell service was spotty at best, but wifi is available at the cabin. A very good stay for our family!
This property is located on a small cove of the Lake of the Ozarks. The property is about 30 minutes away from closest grocery store but there are local bait shops and gas station closer to pick up incidentals. Plan to buy supplies prior to arriving at the property. It has direct access to a very well built, two slip dock complete with lighting. This property fit our fishing vacation perfectly. The property has great WiFi/ internet connection. This location is remote and we did not have cell phone service but were able to connect to WiFi easily. Perfect for someone wanting to get away from busy life and relax! The home is rustic but the host has kept it very clean and all appliances, utilities worked just fine.We had great fishing success off the dock and look forward to returning!
The lodging was a wonderful place to stay, it is secluded and peaceful. Our family had a wonderful time, and our children didn't want to be on their electronics. We fished, swam, roasted hot dogs and smores, grilled, played washers and corn hole, etc. This house is an older home, but in great condition and made you feel like you were at home without all the busy life.
This place is where you can go to get a piece of God's country!!
The host, David, is wonderful! He is there when needed and he is such a kind person!!!
The drive to house was very curvy, hilly, and long. Make sure you go to the store prior to heading down. (There’s a Walmart in Versailles which was 42 min from the property). The fishing was good. The queen beds are hard and the double beds are super soft. The bathroom definitely needs an update and a little repair. The owner was very pleasant and easy to talk to and work with. He was quick to respond. I will definitely be going back.
