Overgrown yard. Listing not the same as property condition. Mouse poop in dresser drawers. Dirty dishes in cupboards. Looks as tho no care for maintenance. Very uncomfortable beds. The sheets felt like old hard linnen. Sofa old and broken. Great location if you are not looking for rest and comfortable furniture. Excellent location.

Beautiful home and neighborhood

Katherine was very helpful with the check in process. The place was very clean when we got there. The beds were very comfortable and we look forward to staying again at some point in the future.

Great Family Getaway

We stayed three nights and had a blast. The cottage is located a great neighborhood and very close to mounty Shasta. Check in and checkout were a breeze and Kathy was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We will definitely be staying at Kathy’s cottage again!

Not only was Kathy extremely accommodating from the day we first spoke to her, and made us feel welcomed, her cottage is very quaint and felt like home. Highly recommend for anyone with a family or in Dunsmuir for pleasure. We will definitely be back to stay again. Thank you, Kathy!

what was unique is it is a steep back in time, I grew up in the area lots of memories loved it. yard needs to be cleaned up.

I went for my birthday and the house was so cute and quaint, full amenities and kitchen to cook meals at home! Such cute vintage/thrift shops in town and Tooties was the best place to go for coffee and breakfast. Would recommend going to Castle Lake nearby, and Yaks on 5 has killer burgers! Thank you for such an amazing weekend and we will definitely be back to stay again! Kathy was THE BEST! She leaves instructions for local hikes/lakes, and also has a picnic basket prepared for said trips!

A charming and comfortable cottage that has the feel of Grandma’s house. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. The location is pretty quiet and is about 4 minutes from anywhere in Dunsmuir. We would stay here again without hesitation. Thanks you.
