Our blended family came to Hawaii for 7 days...
We had a BLAST! The location of this condo is absolutely perfect!
Beaches, water sports, and bars/restaurants within walking distance but use of a car whenever we wanted to explore!
We enjoyed our time at the Oceanfront Stunner, conveniently located close to shops and dining places. The space at condo was great and well equipped.
Neighbors were very loud one night aside from that we enjoyed our stay
Awesome property and great location. The property was clean and well stocked with many essentials that came in handy during our stay. Dan was an excellent host and really good with communications. He was quick with responses to questions prior to our stay and during. Highly recommend this property and if you have any questions don't hesitate to contact the host.
We had the most amazing time at Dans place! It’s just a short walk to anything you could need, groceries, beaches, surfing and lots of other awesome stops we had not been before. The car is a great bonus to see parts of the island that are further away. So great to have all the beach gear as well. We would come back again for sure.
Kihei Surf Style has a beautiful interior space in a small condo on the second floor. Definitely a tight squeeze accommodating our group of 5 adults. The location was a positive point with easy walking access to the beach, surf shops, restaurants, a convenience store, and shopping.
We did need to reach out to Dan & Stephanie to request the cleaning service provide clean sheets and towels and to replace worn out air conditioners. They were able to address the issues immediately and compensated us for the inconvenience. Overall, our stay was adequate and the host were accommodating.
Great Holiday break from wet winter in NZ.
Excellent location just across from a very mild surf beach.
Good location to explore the island.
We surfed slightly bigger waves at laihina and I did the downwind Maliko run.
We had 6 of us staying with 3adult boys and one girlfriend.
The condo is compact and the mezzanine area fairly small and warm at this time of the year but Ok for 2 of my boys.
The access steps to the mezzanine are steep fine for kids and active adults probably not for the elderly or obese.
The local food great
one block back with less touristy and more healthy food.
Dan our host was very approachable and it was great to have his large merc wagon available, we had this for the whole 10 days at a very reasonable price.
We were very happy with the accommodation, it’s not flash but very functional.
Would stay again.
Pros: The property is nice with full kitchen and washer and dryer. Location is excellent! Restaurants, Bars, Beach in walking distance.Cons: Unit has jalousie windows so you hear road noise all night long, hard to get a good night sleep. Living room Funiture very unconfutable. Also hard to hear TV when A/C is on. Don't expect to ride the bikes they are all broken. Would have given 3.5 stars if I could have. Tv in the bedroom was broken, the manager did respond got a new one on last day of trip but I had to do the set up. The guy just put it on the wall and left. Had so other issues too and they still charged me for a late check out.
There was a mishap upon our arrival that could have potentially ended unfavorably for both parties. Dan was not only quick to respond, he was dismayed at the mistake, and worked to make it right, financially and professionally.
Ultimately, we had a wonderful stay. The location can't be beat. Runs along the beach just outside the door, coffee on the lanai, watching the locals surf, and walking next door for spectacular surf lessons ourselves. You can join locals at the outdoor roller rink across the street, or mosey to one of many highly coveted Maui restaurants / food trucks.
We had two families: four adults and four young kiddos. It did get a little tight with suitcases for everyone and you'll want to turn the fans on early in the loft to get it cooled for sleeping. However, the boardgames, boogie boards, and beach gear made it an afterthought.
I would recommend this place to family and friends visiting Maui. Mahalo!

The pictures in the property profile don't represent the property at all. Very small, stairs are unsafe. It was dirty, bugs were crawling on the bed, bed sheets were dirty, there were mold around bedroom windows. the owner was 4 hours late in giving us access to the room. We left the property after 45 minutes as we didn't want to sleep in a bed with bugs and dirty sheets and had to rent hotel rooms somewhere else. Owner ignored our request for reimbursement and still hasn't answered after two months of follow ups with VRBO. Avoid that property at all cost.
Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Aloha Surf. We only stayed 2 nights in December and happened to catch pretty crumby weather, but we made the most of our trip. The condo was well appointed, the VRBO description was accurate and I can attest the condo fared well in a pretty sketchy storm! Our surf lessons at Maui Waveriders were cancelled due to brown water conditions from the storm, but literally, would have been steps from the condo! Communication was great with the owners. I appreciated the offer to help us find a place to stay the day we checked out, as our reservations in Hana the next day were a no go as the road to Hana was closed to tourists with debris and trees in the road and flash flooding. Our family of 5 stayed in Aloha Surf, including our 13, 16 and 19 year old children. The condo was perfect for us. The second bathroom was a nice treat, however the showers was small. My 5'9" son chose to shower in the master bath after his first shower. The loft area is as pictured in the listing. Please note the stairs leading to the loft area are not for those scared of heights or who may need to use the bathroom in the night half asleep! However they weren't an issue for us at all. Also note there is no elevator, again not an issue for us. The parking lot is tight. We rented a Chrysler Pacifica minivan and were able to squeeze into our assigned space. The drive around the building was tight, but manageable and I found all parking in Maui compact! There were plenty of parallel parking spots directly on the street in front of the condo as well. There was a closet of supplies that we found super handy as we mostly traveled from NC with carry on baggage. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, trash bags, cleaning supplies, detergent were provided. The washer and dryer are full size and the laundry baskets and drying racks were much appreciated as we were soaked from the storm! We didn't make use of any beach gear during our stay, but there was a good supply available. Beds were very comfortable. Nalu's was our favorite meal so far in all of Maui! We had a fabulous breakfast there! Mahalo!
