Welcome to your perfect Maine lakefront escape - 2 story home sleeps 11 and is thoughtfully designed for families to relax, reconnect and make lasting memories together. Nestled on the shores of a pristine crystal-clear lake, this newly renovated home blends New England charm with modern comfort and design. Wake up to the sounds of loons, sip coffee on the screened porch overlooking the water, and spend your day swimming, boating, fishing, kayaking, sailing, kayaking, canoeing or just soaking in the peaceful surroundings with your favorite book.

Inside, the home is designed with everyone in mind. The open concept kitchen and dining area is fully equipped to entertain and feed all the guests whether it be large family meals or lazy breakfast for the whole crew. Stand alone coffee/breakfast bar and a huge island to prep, cook and eat at make cooking a family affair. Outdoor grill and plenty of seating to gather around and share stories after a day on the water. Both indoor and outdoor seating to accommodate everyone. Sleeping arrangements are flexible and comfortable, featuring a mix of queen bedrooms and cozy bunk rooms for lots of kids. Whether you're a multi-generational family or multiple families vacationing together everyone will have new bed to rest well in.

Step outside and enjoy your private waterfront, a new smartly designed dock for boating and swimming and evenings around the fire pit under a sky full of stars. If needed Kezar Lake Marina offers boat rentals to enjoy the scenic nearly 9 mile long, 2,700 acre waterbody known for crystal-clear water and clean water and stunning views of the White Mountains. Kezar is conveniently located near charming Maine towns, the Saco River and New Hampshire's North Conway which is home to the Conway Scenic Railroad, Settlers Green Outlet Village, fantastic eateries, boutiques, mountain resorts and so much more. This home offers the best of both worlds.

We are 3 hours from Boston, 1 hour west of Portland and 25 minutes from North Conway NH.

Lovely spot on a favorite lake

The cottage is as advertised and in a lovely location on a beautiful lake. Lots of floaties and toys for kids, with space to play. As noted, the beach is shared with the family house but we found it very comfortable to use. House is also next to some others (through the trees) but also not a problem. Clearly the loons and eagles also favor this location! The screened porch is a highlight of the house - we enjoyed our meals and relaxing there with the ever-changing lake view.

This is an Absolutely beautiful lake and the beach and access to the water was so good for water activities, which is hard to find in Maine.

Rick wasn't kidding when he said "Everything is supplied for you; just bring your own towels, clothes, toiletries." (And of course food). Plenty of room for all of us (6 adults, 4 grandchildren ages 6 and under). Full kitchen ... even came with EVOO, mixer, and blender. (There were more fry pans than needed). Even had an outdoor shower with hot and cold water! Shed with floats, skis, minnow net. We do wish the floating dock had been in the water; but, even so, a great time had by all of us. Highly recommend. Four stars for location because, facing east, it got quite a bit of shade from about 3pm on....which is actually great on really hot days. Water temperature was warm, perfect. Thank you!

Relaxing family vacation on a very quiet beautiful lake

The home was clean and cozy. The screened in porch was perfect! The lake was gorgeous and extremely quiet. We felt like we had the entire lake to ourselves. Rick was very helpful and was accessible when we had questions. We would've given this home 5 stars but we felt the description of the property on VRBO did not match the actual property. The house sits on a shared lot. Which normally is not an issue but the description stated "private beach." The beach is shared with another home (luckily for us no one was in the other home when we rented the property). The pictures and description on VRBO show a dock and a jon boat on the property. We were disappointed to see that the dock and the boat were not in the water. (We spoke to Rick after our trip and he informed us that the dock will be installed on July 1) We truly enjoyed our mini vacation in beautiful Lovell! We decided to write this review to help future guests. We recommend this property for anyone looking for a beautiful, quiet and relaxing vacation.

We're a new England family who resides on the west coast but loves returning back home to enjoy the White Mountains and Kezar Lake. Lovers of water sports and enjoying lake life as often as possible in the summer. Being in the hospitality business, it was only natural that we wanted to share this special place with others.

Why they chose this property

4 generations of family have been enjoying Kezar Lake for over 50 years and it is as beautiful as it was in the 1980's. The cottage is your own private retreat which allows family and friends to reconnect, relax, rest and make lifelong memories. It is a special place filled with fantastic stories and laughter and a special way of allowing everyone to decompress. It is the perfect lake to learn any water sport for those who are adventurous and the perfect home in the perfect location in Middle Bay if you prefer routing others on from the shoreline.

What makes this property unique

Lakefront home only 40 feet from the shoreline with private beach and boat dock directly in front of the property. Home is newly renovated so features a modern design aesthetic with a new dock, new paint & flooring, new appliances, new quartz island and kitchen countertops, new bathrooms and all new furniture. Kitchen features stand alone coffee bar and additional pantry storage. Screened porch provides front row seat to the beautiful lake and all the water activities happening
