We loved everything about our stay. The house was fully stocked! The listing is exactly as described. Our host responded to questions promptly and our stay was so peaceful and comfortable. We loved the area and had the best vacation! We highly recommend this lovely home!

Ideal property for some peace and relaxation. The host provides just about everything you need to enjoy the outdoor space and water. The upstairs AC was not working the 1st night of our stay, but Jeff was awesome in addressing.

River house to JMU

Loved the place, we were there during very high water so didn’t get to really enjoy the river but the yard is big and private and has direct access to the river. I was visiting my daughter at JMU and the commute was super easy. Loved it! The interior furnishings are modest but my daughter and I had a great time.

Fantastic location for a river getaway!

Our family drove from Michigan to meet us at this cabin.( We are Virginia Locals) Cabin was perfect for all of us to be comfortable. There was 8 of us on this getaway and there was plenty of space for all of us and the owners stocked the kitchen with everything you need to feed a large crew like ours. Cabin has comfortable beds, great river location, beautiful back deck and fantastic fire pits one by the river and the other on the lawn so you can enjoy your evenings as much as you will enjoy your days here. Owner has done great job remodeling this cabin and he is extremely accommodating. We will return to this cabin soon and I highly recommend this property to everyone!

We had a great time at this cabin! The river access is awesome with nice steps down to a private beach with benches. The yard is very big with plenty of space for a volleyball game or corn hole. The host even had firewood available for evening fires. The kitchen is very well equipped for a large family to cook meals and eat together. We will definitely be back! Thank you Jeff for sharing your little piece of heaven with our family! We loved it:)
