Serene Mountain Cabin Nestled in the Heart of the Northern Catskills
Welcome to Dry Brook Cabin, our family’s treasured retreat for fifty years!
Located in the heart of the Northern Catskills (2 ½ hours from NYC) off Route 28, Dry Brook Cabin is situated on 14 acres of private, wooded land with majestic mountain views.
Year-round activities abound - skiing, hiking, shopping, day spas, cultural attractions, tubing, and more. If cooking is your thing, we have a bountiful supermarket just minutes away in Margaretville and a lavish farmers’ market at the Round Barn on Route 30. There are also plenty of high-quality restaurants nearby.
This 4 bed / 2 bath log cabin comfortably sleeps 8, has an open layout, and plenty of natural light. Outdoor porches and Adirondack seating allow you to take in the peace, quiet, and warmth of the mountains while enjoying morning coffee, happy hour, or a home-cooked meal. There is also an outdoor fire pit, perfect for enjoying s’mores and stargazing.

13 minutes to Belleayre Mountain Ski Center
13 minutes to Belleayre Beach
23 minutes to Plattekill Ski Center
4 minutes to the local hospital.
5 minutes to the local grocery store and pharmacy
Groups need to be 25 and older per owners discretion
Although the driveway is plowed front wheel drive with good tires or an all wheel drive are necessary during the winter months.
Guests should remove shoes when entering the house. Ski boots should not be worn in the house.
Before You Leave
Please take a few moments to double-check the house for any personal belongings—especially in drawers, closets, and under beds. If any items are left behind and you`d like them returned, we’re happy to help. Please note there will be a $50 handling fee plus the cost of shipping.
