Welcome to our tiny living piece of Outer Banks Paradise!

Looking to get away and down to the beach? Ready to be out and about exploring all that the Outer Banks has to offer but still need a home base with a great location and comfortable accommodations? We have just what you need!

Chaplain’s Paradise is tiny beach living at it’s best. Newly constructed with fresh furnishings and décor, this 250 square foot studio apartment sleeps two in the queen size bed. Other features of this unit include a private bathroom with standup shower, one flat-screen TV, a kitchenette with two-burner stove, shared washer and dryer, cable television, and internet.

The property boasts close proximity to a public beach access and an outdoor shower.
Linens (bath towels, washcloths and sheets) are included.

Chaplain’s Paradise is centrally located in the town of Kill Devil Hills. Within easy driving distance of many local favorites such as Jeanette’s Pier, Jockey’s Ridge, Tanger Outlet Shopping, Bodie Island Lighthouse, Coquina Beach, and the NC Aquarium in Manteo, the property is also minutes from fine and casual dining, grocery stores and much more!

Please note that no pets of any kind are permitted in Chaplain's Paradise. Additionally, there is no smoking of any kind. All guests are encouraged to purchase trip insurance.

Tiny Living at the Beach!

Joe know's how to make Tiny Living at the beach amazing. This unit is completely brand new. It is well appointed from the linens to the kitchen. There were 2 burners and an air fryer which made our stay that much more enjoyable. It was the perfect space for us and well thought out. The proxity to the beach was less than 5 minutes. Just really a hidden gem in the Outer Banks. Communicating with Joe was seamless. We'll be back!

Great area in Kill Devil Hills

Great communication between Lisa and Matt thru texts or Joe in emails about any issues that we had. Many restaurants within walking distance as well as beach access within 5 minutes. The only thing I would mention that wasn't mentioned in the listing is where you have to park. You cannot park on the street where the address is located; you have to park behind the house on a long dirt/sand/grassy driveway which wasn't a big deal. We did use the laundry room and the outdoor shower that was provided. Would definitely stay there again!

OBX stay

The studio was as described. A short 5 min walk to beach access & close to everything. Communication was great and check in/out process easy. The unit is just big enough for 2 and has everything you need, except storage. There is no closet or shelving or wall hooks to store/ hang closing. If you don't mind " living" out of your suitcase...no big deal. I would have loved to have at least a couple of wall hooks to hang something. Overall we had a wonderful time in OBX and in this studio. It's a nice and seemingly safe neighborhood and the studio was clean with a comfortable bed. If you like a softer pillow, bring your own.The ones in the studio are definitely firm, very firm. We would recommend this VRBO and feel it deserves 5 stars.
