Cottage was clean with a great view of the lake. Nice private dock. Peaceful and private, even with neighbors. Stairs to the cottage might be a challenge for someone with limited mobility

Thank you for your kind review. For most people eager to hike in our area the stairs as pictured are not a problem.
My husband and I spent our anniversary in this beautiful cabin. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We would love to come back in the summer to really enjoy the lake! Truly a special place.
Chilly, misty, lakey, winter fun! Guys there's a lot of steps, be ready for them!

Because the cabin practically sits on Lake Sutherland, there are stairs to it, as are most of the cabins on the north, sunny side. The stairs have handrails and are well lite. I am 67 and have no problems.
As advertised, it’s for the heart healthy and the healthy at heart :)
What an amazing place! From the minute we sat on the dock, we never wanted to leave. Beautiful lake, nice accommodations. What else could you need! Will definitely come back. Already miss waking up to the water.
Great location for numerous day hikes. Beautiful view of lake each morning and everything you need. We like to cook and kitchen provided all the essentials. Would definitely visit again.
We loved our stay on Lake Sutherland. The lake itself is breathtaking and there’s so much activity to watch or take part in. We loved using the kayak available at the property. The cabin itself was super cozy and very clean. They really thought of everything we’d ever need including binoculars which I thought was a nice touch. A week was not enough!
This was a beautiful cottage with great views of the mountains & lake. The hosts thought of everything n we so helpful with all aspects of our stay. LOcation close stay. LO
My husband and I stayed here for two nights and enjoyed the beautiful lake views. The cabin is well-equipped with anything you may need during your stay, and it’s conveniently located approx. 20 minutes from Port Angeles.
Cozy Cabin is better than pictured. Peaceful, scenic, clean, well-stocked with kitchen utensils, linens, etc. It has a good design so that it feels way larger than its square footage. There’s plenty of room to store suitcases. And it’s a great launching off spot for exploring the Olympic National Park—many places are only 20-30 min drive away. We highly recommend a stay in this magical place!
Everything about our stay was wonderful. The cabin was lovely. The host has thought of every detail. The scenery is breathtaking. It was the perfect home base for our elopement in Olympic. Highly recommend.
My husband and I stayed here for two nights while touring the ONP. This little gem of a find was perfect for us. Clean, quiet and comfortable with really cute decor. We enjoyed sitting on the boat deck sipping coffee and watching the birds.
The cabin was very nice and cozy like their name with everything needed to cook multiple meals and unwind after hiking. A nice touch included coffee, tea and water. The views were amazing while facing the lake and mountains. The Host was great. The walkway to the cabin was a mini hike, but worth the effort for this perfectly relaxing waterfront cabin.
Amazing! Bedroom, living area that is open to the kitchen and bathroom was all we needed. Cozy Cabin decor complimented a variety of life styles. Large windows allow a wonderful view of the lake. The dock, outdoor staircase (with night lights) and fire pit area are special. The Host is quick to respond to messages. Loved It!!
Thé place is even more beautiful inside then thé pictures show. Marvelous place. Very romantic and all thé comfort you need. Only thé stairs to enter are not easy to take with a suitcase. We have loved staying here very much and could have easily spend more time to relax and enjoy Olympic from here.

I have lived my entire life on the North Olympic Peninsula. I am very fortunate to live here and it is a beautiful place to visit. I have three adult children who still love to spend time and enjoy the waters of Lake Sutherland. I work and live in Port Angeles, but try to spend some weekends escaping life's demands by relaxing at the lake. I have a sign at the cabin that reads, 'If you are lucky enough to live on the water, you are lucky enough'. That says it all!
