Walking trails around the fields or through the woodlands, or take the old trail to access Stephenson road , 4-acre catch and release pond, visited by ducks, geese and turtles in warmer weather. Sunset over the mountains from the deck. Close to Strasburg's Emporium and other quaint shops, breweries and wineries. Strasburg museum open May to October. Close drive to Skyline drive, GW and Shenandoah National Parks

This property was exactly what we were looking for. It had all the necessities and some great extras like a flashlight in case we needed to go out after dark. We loved that it was pet friendly and had great walking trails!

We loved our stay. This was our second time at the house, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. The views are beautiful, everything was spotless, and the home is exactly as described. The host was helpful and easy to communicate with. We’ll definitely be back.

The Mint Cottage was a beautiful home and exactly what we wanted. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to stay again soon. The home was very clean, and had everything you would need. Being able to have our furbabies with us was wonderful. We took advantage of the trails and open fields.

We had a fantastic experience at this property and couldn't be happier with our stay. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the host takes great pride in maintaining the space. Everything was spotlessly clean and very well cared for.The place was incredibly comfortable, exactly what you hope for when you're away from home. Whether we were relaxing inside or winding down at the end of the day, everything we needed was right there and in great condition.One thing that really stood out was how quiet the environment was. It made for truly restful nights and a peaceful atmosphere throughout our stay.Overall, this is the kind of property that makes you want to come back. Highly recommended!

Our stay at the Mint Cottage was lovely! The property is beautiful and very quiet & allowed us to relax as well as explore the area. Christine was very attentive to our needs, bringing us a small table for the bathroom to hold toiletries. We had all we needed. Comfy bed, great shower, and kitchen with all the implements youwould ever need. The egg chairs outside were fantastic, I spent a lot of time there with my binoculars & enjoying all the birds. Although the hosts house is very close by, we were never disturbed or even noticed they were about. If you needed them, a text was all that was needed. I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely property to others .

We had a wonderful weekend at this lovely cottage! Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved the beautiful grounds, pond, and firepit! My kids and dog enjoyed the wide open spaces and fishing. Would love to come back next year!

Absolutely beautiful house and setting. All the basics (and then some) provided - towels, shampo/soaps, all kitchen dishes and cooking tools, keurig, tv, and wifi. Peaceful setting with fire ring, huge trees, beautiful flowers, variety of birds. Sit in the suspended egg chairs and tke it all in! We loved our stay and plan on booking again when we return to the area.

It is a very clean, nicely-decorated, cozy cottage on a beautiful property! The kitchen and bedrooms have all the necessities for a comfortable stay. It was quiet and peaceful relaxing on the deck with a view of the mountains and lovely tree-shaded back yard. It was exactly what I had hoped it would be, based on the description.

This was the cutest cottage we've ever stayed in. Very clean, lovely cottage decor, the outside was absolutely beautiful, and the entire estate is beautiful. We had a campife one evening, walked around their pond, and star gazed most of the evenings. It's perfectly placed between Front Royal and Strasburg. Can go hiking in the Shenandoah one day and then along Big Schloss in WV the next. Will be back for sure

Extremely convenient location to explore the Shenandoah Valley. Strasburg and Front Royal are very close, so plenty of food options and all the shopping you could need within 15 minutes of the cottage.The cottage itself was clean and comfortable. The property had plenty of space to walk our dog and play catch. We definitely enjoyed our stay.
