Great for what we needed, which was an affordable place to sleep during move in week at JMU. Appreciated the basket of treats and the fresh jams and soaps for sale in the unit.

The Wash House is a great spot to stay when visiting the Shenandoah Valley. It was extremely clean, very comfortable and the hosts provided all sorts of snacks and drinks. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!!!

The Washhouse was exactly as described. It was a very comfortable accommodation, especially given the reasonable price. It is located right next to the hosts’ house. It was very clean and we were surprised by all of the snacks, coffee (K-cups), tea, creamers, cheese & beef sticks, drinks, spices, etc. that were provided, free of charge. I highly recommend checking in before going to the grocery store. There is a bedroom upstairs that includes a half bath. Downstairs there is another bedroom, a full bath, an eat-in kitchen, and a small sitting area with games. The hosts were very friendly. My sister and I met in Harrisonburg because it is the halfway point between our two homes. We were there to enjoy the fall foliage in the Shenandoah Valley. It kind of felt like we were stopping to stay at a friend’s or relative’s house on our way through the area (it felt very homey). We will definitely be interested in staying here again in the future (and actually already booked it again in November). I highly recommend going for a drive on Skyline Drive while you’re in the area. It is so gorgeous!!

The host family was wonderful! The children so cute! The little extras like snacks and treats were a surprise!Loved sweet Nikita, the family dog who lives outside in her doghouse!It was close enough to have many cute restaurants but lovely on the quiet farm!

We had a lovely stay at the wash house! Trisha and her family were very welcoming and kind. Their 2 dogs were also so friendly and sweet, we loved having them around. The house was stocked with yummy snacks and drinks. It had everything we needed. Would stay here again for our next trip to Harrisonburg.
