Great historic property. Very clean and accurate property description. Close to downtown...can walk most places. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
So much can be said about this place... Clean, cozy, conviently located to town and attractions. The hosts are fantastic and communicate with suggestions of things to do and check in was a breeze. Looking forward to staying there again.
This property was really nice. It made our experience more enjoyable. The location is absolutely wonderful. Near downtown but nestled in a quite beautiful historic neighborhood. And the hosts were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Thank you for everything Dan and Chris.

Hi Brian — We apologize that we mistakenly told you check in was at 4:00 pm. We had an unusual same day turnover that day and were almost finished cleaning from our previous guest when you arrived just before 3:00 pm. We didn’t realize it was an issue though because after we invited you to come in, your wife told us you would prefer to drive around for a few minutes, which you did. We genuinely hope this didn’t inconvenience your stay. — Dan Chris
We found this vacation home to be very clean, well-appointed and in a quite historic neighborhood that is conveniently located to downtown shops and restaurants. Highly recommend this property for your next stay in New Bern.
Wonderful experience - home is so relaxing and comfortable and fully equipped - hardly used a car all week - walked everywhere - along river; historic tours, boat tour - hosts are very helpful

Thank you so much! We look forward to seeing you here again.
We booked this stay for our elderly parents, while the stairs were a challenge, they were manageable. Spacious bedrooms and cozy common areas in this 1810 guest cottage. Hosts were readily available and prompt to respond to requests. At our parents request, we would definitely book again next time they visit.
We loved our stay in historic New Bern. The house is walking distance to the downtown area and steps away from the water. We would absolutely stay again.

The home was in a great area - near the river and downtown New Bern. We loved the place. The decor is very nice; there were plenty of amenities in the bath and kitchen; and the owners, who live next door, are super.

This property is always a great place to stay. Not only are we close to the waterfront we get to be Just in downtown New Bern with all the history there. The hosts are great and very accommodating and always make sure that we feel welcome. It is my go to for staying in New Bern North Carolina
My favorite part was the garden teaming with birds. Enjoyed walks along Front street and great food downtown. The beds were comfy, and the hosts provided many amenities.
Hosts were very attentive and communicative, and the property was certainly as advertised. We were looking for a great “home base” to explore New Bern that also wasn’t right in the middle of downtown, and this property was great. Everywhere is very walkable and the waterfront is just steps from the house.
