About this property

Point Clear B - Beachfront Pet-Friendly Duplex

Point Clear B is a Gulf Front duplex with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths on both sides.  It has a wonderful Gulf Front master suite on the second level with its own private Gulf Front balcony.  This home also has new living room furniture.  Point Clear B sleeps 8 with a queen master bedroom, a queen with an additional bunk in the second bedroom, and a queen bed in the third bedroom.
Point Clear is possibly one of the best vacation values available on the Alabama Gulf Coast. This was the first home built by Steve and Becky Harris and was designed to provide guests with a relaxing vacation and a value price.

This duplex has a shared driveway that can fit 2-3 cars per side.

Fort Morgan

Fort Morgan is a quiet beach community away from the crowds and congestion. On the peninsula, guests will find the following restaurants: Tacky Jacks 2, Sassy Bass, The Coast Restaurant, The Village Hideaway, and The Kiva Grill. Guests can play golf at the Peninsula or at Kiva Dunes. There is an accessible boat launch and marina at the Gulf Shores Marina at Fort Morgan. Last but not least, there is a historical Civil War Site to explore at the Fort Morgan Historic Site. There is something for everyone in Fort Morgan!

We love people of all ages, and we want everyone to enjoy our homes.  However, we do require that an adult 25 years or older reserve the home and be present at the home during your entire stay. We do not rent to anyone under the age of 25.  We have no exception to this policy.

Wedding trip

Fort morgan

Super relaxed stay. The pictures of this location seem to be old, the house has new renovations and is a lot better than the pictures listed. Calm, friendly environment. Great for someone trying to get away.

Everything we needed and more, Point Clear B listing undersold the property!

We had the most amazing stay at Point Clear B. It was a girls trip for myself, my mother and my aunt. We had EVERYTHING we needed at the house and the boxes they provided with necessities for the bathroom and kitchen were such a nice, thoughtful touch. The house itself is amazing the kitchen looked small in the photos but was large and easy to cook with 3 busy bodies in the same space. The beach was gorgeous and having it right out the back door was awesome. Will definitely stay again.

Great Location

Great location, views, and beach access. The house is literally in the beach which is awesome. The only negative I would have is some routine maintenance issues. Several lights not working, the worst of which was the outdoor light over the stairs. We arrived after dark and getting in the house was challenging with no outdoor lighting.

Not a good stay.

1. The Refrigerator made an awful, LOUD noise on and off during the day and night the whole time we were there and would not keep the food cold so we had to keep the food in an ice chess. 2. The steps leading up to the front door was extremely steep with no landing at top. 3. We could not go out the back door to the beach because it would not stay closed unless it was lock so if we want to to the beach we had to use the front door that was very inconvenient. 4. When we got there the sofa felt wet and was just filthy. We have been going to that area for a few years and we were very disappointed in the place we choose to stay this time."

Family vacation

House was ok. Has a very musty smell. No basic spices for cooking or decent cooking utensils. Usually most places have at least a couple coffee filters for people who arrive late but there were none. I honestly don’t know why people don’t use reusable filters. Especially for the single use machine. Doors are hard to open and shut. Not enough living room seating. Balcony lounge chair is broken. The grills are not great. The park type grills don’t get hot enough and the portable one is tiny and about to fall apart. Also there are no grilling utensils whatsoever. There are several things in the house that need attention. Most things appear to be rigged. Loose and noisy ceiling fans. The dining room furniture was loose and wobbly. I work in the hospitality industry and a construction background so I notice small details. There is definitely a lot of room for improvement here. Most are basic at best.
