Convenient for larger groups and nice neighborhood for kids
The house is located in a greta family friendly neighbor with access to pool and easy drive to Bethany Beach. We used the house for a large family trip and the bedroom set up worked very well. The unit is also on the end so we were able to use the side yard / open lot to play in. The pool is walkable. The north clubhouse with the kids splash pad is a bike ride or car ride. The house was generally clean but we had some issues with the overall thoroughness of the cleaning (crumbs in drawers, bedding had some stains, a few ants in kitchen, plastic kitchen ware was very used and pots and pans were scratched up teflon).

Family vacation 2025
We loved the size of the house. Everyone being able to have their own space was amazing. The large sectional and additional seating allowed for us to hang out together in the living room comfortably. Having the pool passes to access the pool was a bonus, just dont forget the white door pass in addition to the green passes when you leave or you
won't have access. The extra refrigerator was perfect for those who want to have soda and adult beverages cold without having room for food and other necessities. The sheets and towels being supplied were a nice surprise as we had brought our own to use. The ease of access to additional parking was fabulous since the family came from different areas with extra cars. The extras the house provided were helpful, every cupboard and drawer was throughly stocked, including a huge amount of silverware which is something that we typically run out of quickly. The location is perfect to drive to Bethany, Fenwick, Dewey or Rehoboth within 10 to 20 min. Lastly, the sweet older couple who live next door waved to us every time we saw them, were an added amenity :) We will be back!! Thank you for a great vacation 😁

Great stay!
The house was spacious and accommodating for our large group of adults & children. It's very pretty, updated and has nice furniture. A lot of beach supplies in the garage. There are only 4 parking spots available, but there was extra parking near the house which was helpful since we were a full house.
The review last year said they didn't have access to the pool because the cards weren't supplied. We had no issues with that, we had the access cards and went to the pool almost daily. This person also said they contacted vacasa and couldn't reach anyone. I never had any issues getting a hold of anyone. I always had a quick response through live chat & text.
Another comment said the house was not clean, overall we felt it was in pretty good shape. The back porch could've been cleaned off better with the cobwebs. However my boys love bugs/ spiders so they enjoyed that.
The day at arrived, vacasa texted asking to rate the cleanliness of the house. It made me feel like they do care about rectifying any negative comments they had.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Comfortable Home
My family and I spent our family vacation in this rental and we were overall very please with our stay. There was adequate space for everyone. The in-closed back patio was a nice additional to have some outdoor leisure. We had 3 small children with us who enjoyed the outdoor space next to the house to play. There were only a few hiccups that we wish could have been better, but we still enjoyed our stay overall. The electricity in the downstairs twin bedroom kept going out. We had to keep going to the fuse box to switch it back on. The garbage disposal was not working properly so we had to climb under the sink to plug it in every time we needed to use it. There weren’t enough pool passes left for us and when we went to the shared pool we were unfortunately harassed by the pool attendant Patty who kept coming up to us and our young children for the most minuscule things like drinking water by the pool and asking my 4 year old nephew to keep the water in the pool while splashing around. We were ultimately asked to leave when my elderly parents who were not even swimming but watching their grandchildren swim arrived because we had 9 pool passes when we needed 10. It was utterly ridiculous, though it did not ruin our vacation. Thankfully there was another pool across the street where we were able to swim without being harassed. The house was very modern and created a great space for family time.

Thank you for sharing your feedback about your recent family vacation stay, Leslie. We’re delighted to hear that you and your family enjoyed the space and the enclosed back patio, as well as the outdoor area for your children to play. It’s wonderful to know that the home provided a great environment for family time.
We sincerely apologize for the hiccups you experienced during your stay, particularly with the electricity in the downstairs twin bedroom and the garbage disposal. Your comments are important, and we will address these issues with our maintenance team to ensure they are resolved for future guests.
We also regret to hear about your experience at the pool and the interaction with the attendant. We understand how frustrating this must have been, especially with young children in tow. Your feedback will be shared with the management team to ensure a more accommodating experience for our guests in the future.
Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to welcome you back for another family vacation where you can enjoy an even better experience.
