My wife and our 7 year old twins stayed at the property for the long weekend and spent two days skiing at Big Bear. The house was perfect for what we needed. It was clean and cozy and close to the mountain.
We had a wonderful stay! The house fit our two families very well. We were able to relax, spend a couple days at the mountain skiing and hiking. The owner was very responsive to our questions and the check in process was extremely easy.
Thank you for our getaway.

I'm so glad you had such a fun time here! I definitely welcome you back at any time! You were great guests.
Lovely house and community. We spent most of our time either by the pool or on the beach. Erin is an excellent host and communication was very clear and easy.

Thank you for the kind words, Svetlana! Would absolutely welcome you and your family back to stay anytime!
Pictures are not clear, duplicate angles of the same rooms. Washer worked but the Dryer was disabled. In addition, there was an outrageous cleaning fee that was worth almost another night alone. Location is great but I don’t recommend because of the fees.

Hello! I disagree that my images are unclear. I have multiple images so guests can see different sides of the rooms. The dryer was not disabled during your stay, nor has it ever been disabled. We would have promptly fixed it. RE: The cleaning fee- $200 is standard for the area. It includes my cleaner to spend 3 hours in my home prepping the property for the next guest and also laundered sheets, comforters, towels, bathmats, for all beds (4) and bathrooms (2). $200 is a fair price. We also pay a per rental-period fee to the HOA.
The place was super clean and appliances worked well. It was just as you see on the photos, furniture and decor was really nice. The property manager was prompt in responding to us, highly recommended!

About the host
Hosted by Erin Babcock
Hello! We are Erin and Mike, the owners of Casa Aurora. While we reside in NJ now, Erin, a born and raised local to the tri-state area near our PA house, spent her summer weekends rafting on the Delaware River and learned to ski at Ski big Bear! Mike grew up in the Midwest and loves the outdoors just as much. We also have 2 young daughters who we love to take on our adventures. We renovated this house on our own to with the help of family and hope you will love it and enjoy it just as much as we do!
Why they chose this property
We travel to the area often since we have family nearby. We wanted a vacation home near family where we can all come together to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city area and get back into nature. The summer and winter amenities here were a major draw for us and our children. We love this property because it's not too big and not too small!
