Private Downtown Cottage w/ Hot Tub, Fenced Yard, Fireplace & Fire Pit

This newly built one bedroom cottage, by Forest & Peak Retreats, has all the necessities you need for a comfortable stay near downtown. Appreciate the sight of Pike's Peak from the backyard while sipping a nice glass of wine at the outside fireplace. Enjoy the luxurious walk in shower, cook a meal on the high end range, and relax in front of the gaslit fireplace in the living room. The Blue Spruce is the perfect place to rest your head after a day of exploring Colorado Springs.

Please read entirely so you have a good idea of what you are booking, as we will stick to our cancellation policy.

If you are interested in an early check in or late checkout, please inquire on the day of your booking. We would need to hire an additional cleaner for $80. We do have security cameras outside to monitor traffic. They will be on during your stay. This is our primary residence most of the year and we kindly ask that you respect our belongings.

We are now accepting dogs! Please be sure to include your pet in your guest list when booking. If not, upon arrival we will be immediately requesting the pet fee.

Please read the following rules for your furry friend:
-- You must clean up after your pet outside and inside. If we find any pet poop around or in the property, you will be charged a $250 "pet poop pickup fee."
-- Please do not leave your pet unattended or alone in the house, unless crated.
-- Please do not allow your pet in the hot tub or on our furniture.
-- You are responsible if there is any damage to the property from your pet during your stay.

Pet Fees:
-- One night stay is $75
-- 2-7 night stay is $150
-- 8+ nights is $250
-- If bringing two pets, we do require an additional $50 to the pet fee.

--We also have a security camera facing the front door to monitor traffic. It is located outside and will be on during your stay.

--We provide keyless access and you will receive the code two days prior to your stay. Only one car is allowed as parking is limited.

-No more than 2 guests can use the property. $100 extra per guest, per night if broken. Do not walk on the hot tub cover. Will charge a $1000 fee.

We loved our stay! The property was very clean with a nice kitchen and bathroom. The location was fantastic, we easily walked to downtown and Colorado College. The neighborhood was quiet and the off-street parking was convenient. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a great time. It was perfect for the two of us, and our pups. Bathroom was spacious, and open layout was great, with lots of natural light. We enjoyed exploring the neighborhood and surrounding areas, kitchen was perfectly stocked, and quiet, private yard and hot tub were a lovely perk.

Ants in the bathroom were a problem, the first 2 days the hot tub didn’t work but they did fix it. The rules are excessive I think. There was only 1 tv in the whole place and it’s a small one in the bathroom. The mini splits didn’t keep up with the place. Otherwise it worked for what we needed it for. The listing doesn’t show how small it is and it is super overpriced. Was told they’d get back to us and never did after showing them multiple pictures and videos of the bugs and ants. There were spiders, ants, centipedes and we found 1 cockroach and a few beetles and things. It’s basically a shed that they decorated and the bugs seem in through cracks in the balls in the bathroom.

Nice space, great decor, great home vibe

One of the great things about this propeety is having its own entrance off of the back. Felt very secluded and private. It had very nice features. A full kitchen, and snacks to boot. The heated bathroom floor was amazing. Such a great feature for this tine of year. It was a perfect staycation spot for my wifes birthday. Couldnt have asked for more. Thank you for a pleasant stay. It was just what we needed to recharge.
