Great place in a perfect location...far enough from the main part of Pacific Beach to be quiet, but close enough (10 mins to beach walking) for a pleasant stroll down to the beach and central to other beaches in the area. The house is big. One bedroom is between the living room and the converted garage, but it is possible to walk around outside if the person in that room wants privacy. Great price all things considered and AvantStay is easy to deal with too.

This was a very comfortable house. When we checked in, there was a broken bed frame. The response from the AvantStay people was immediate, and the bed was fixed. Great neighborhood. I would definitely stay there again

Beach Getaway

Our stay was pleasant. The place was clean and exactly like the pictures. We had a few questions and received an immediate response. The home is near everything for a great getaway at the beach.

Perfect PB family spot

The location is beyond convenient to just about everything in the Mission Beach / PB / La Jolla area. House has everything a family may need for a trip to the beach and the converted garage and backyard is a great hang space for kiddos and adults. House is comfortable and clean. We stayed for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great Place to Stay!

We had a wonderful time in San Diego - the location was ideal. We were disappointed the fire pit didn’t work, but the sauna was a fun bonus and we were out and about most of the time. Parking is outside of the house and wherever you can find along the street - but the neighborhood is safe and beautiful ! Highly recommend!!

Lovely Property

This house hit all the right points on our list! It was big enough to house three adults and three kids for a week. Great location, close to the beach, freeways, grocery stores. Very clean and organized inside. Nice little backyard with toys for kids. Overall, I'd definitely stay here again.

Love the location. Property was very clean. Had all the necessities. Overall great stay. Only issue, lots of tree trimming. Saws was very loud.

Beach base camp

Very close to the beach and also walkable to restaurants. Backyard is lovely. No bathtub inside the house which was difficult with small kids. Otherwise great!

Plant paradise

Beautiful property. Management very responsive when I couldn’t figure out how to turn on the sauna. Loved all of the succulents in the backyard.. plant paradise. Everything was clean and peaceful.

Great Summer Escape

Great place for a getaway with friends. Good location with shops, coffee and brunch very close. Easy walk to the Beach. Property managers had clear and prompt communication. Upstairs shower & drain needs some attention, otherwise everything in great order. Thanks!

Nice Beach Home

My husband and I, our adult son, our two younger teen children and our son's friend loved our stay in this home. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking. We liked being 4 blocks from the beach. Parking is tricky, if you don't just walk to the beach (it's about a 13 minute walk), since there are no designated parking spaces. The management team responded to our question within minutes. the sauna/converted garage and connected backyard retreat was really nice. We loved the big rooms and upstairs porch. We had our groceries delivered from the nearby grocery store (Ralph's), which made the trip much easier (without having to haul our groceries). The fire-pit was nice, too. We used the beach chairs that were provided. Overall, I would recommend this home to others, and I would stay again.

Family aunts and nieces trip!

The house was a perfect size, great location for us and had everything we needed. The "garage" and outdoor space was fun but we were never able to get the sauna working, even after contacting the management. That was something we all were really looking forward to so were disappointed. The first night we got there after traveling we weren't able to take a shower in one of the bathrooms. The first person that showered had to stop because the water was backing up and not draining. We texted and called management and they eventually responded saying they would send a plumber. Plumber came the next day around 11:30 and had to snake it. Overall the management was responsive, but not as immediate as I've experienced in other rentals. Overall a good stay.

Fantastic property in a great neighborhood. The street parking was never a problem. The only days we didn’t get a spot right by the house was the weekend when everyone was going to the beach and even then I still parked very close. The team managing the property were great and responded quickly and even dropped off some beach towels. Highly recommend I can’t wait to go back.
