The cottage was perfect for our recent business trip to Massachusetts. One evening, we entertained some friends from a local business. One of the guys is interested in renting!
This was our second stay at this property within the last year, and it once again exceeded our expectations. The waterfront location in a small, private community provides both tranquility and convenience, with lively fishing grounds nearby and easy access to several excellent local restaurants. We especially appreciated that the property had been noticeably improved since our previous visit. The cleanliness, care, and attention to detail were consistently outstanding. We highly recommend this property and look forward to staying here again in the future.
One of the best rentals I've stayed at! Matched the description to a tee, and very very very clean! Simple but comfortable accommodations. Beautiful views of the lake and the bridge. We watched a group of boys taking turns doing back flips and dive into the water off the bridge. A beaver built a damn across the water. And boaters would wave as they passed by. Nice neighbors. Quiet neighborhood. Not far from restaurants and hiking areas. Very beautiful to say the least.
Interesting use of small space. Nice frontage on the pond. The 2 of us are "older" so sleeping arrangements were ok, not great. Upstairs bed was the plan, but due to lots of steps and night time visits to bathroom - so we stayed downstairs. Trundle bed is small for adults. So it was the sofa bed - not comfortable for a 7 night stay. Suggest an additional mattress / cushion that can fold up with the bed. Loved watching the nesting spartows on the deck. Wanted to use the fire pit, but colder than usual weather didn't cooperate.
House was clean and warm and inviting on arrival. Everything as expected. Had a great time at the Great Wolf Lodge with the rest of the family and the birthday boy. Our second time here and would highly recommend. We hope to be back again sometime!
My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at this place. The space was exceptionally clean when we arrived. The location on the water is something special. We would definitely stay here again!
Place was pristine, great location on the lake. Beautiful scenery with the mountains, used the kayaks to get around the lake and catch some fish! My son and i caught pickerel, perch, bass, crappies, and pumkinseeds. Quick drive from Boston @ a little over a hour.
