The suite was clean and comfortable with nice decor and the views of the sound and mountains were incredible, as were the sunsets! Carkeek Park trails access is a short walk away. We appreciated the host accomodating a request for us and we enjoyed the snacks!

This was a perfect landing place for the weekend, enjoying the city by day and coming back to a refuge by the sea at night that Dennis and Martje have created! From the amenities to the hospitality, our wonderful stay was as much a lodging as it was an experience, which is exactly what our travels are for!

If you’re visiting Seattle, you’d be hard-pressed to stay in a more beautiful location. The hosts were impeccably attentive. The apartment was superbly equipped. And the view is to die for.

The host are as amazing as the property. 10/10 would go back. The view is spectacular only stayed one night but would love to return in the future for about a week just to relax and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.

Really nice space. Well laid out. Space for lounging and enjoying the view. I am not sure all guests would agree but I could do without the giant tv. The view would be even better without it. The bathroom is dreamy, The tiny but well-appointed kitchen space is great. We could not find coffee filters to prep coffee the night before and they brought them to us within 30 minutes. Very nice. Would love to return on a summer night when we can enjoy a sunset. Quiet, serene weekend getaway.

Awesome view and suite. The bed was very comfortable and overall the suite was clean and luxurious. There is a train directly down the hill that runs at night so we played white noise to help us sleep. Loved the neighborhood too, great park and playground nearby and a cafe within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

This property is absolutely beautiful and Dennis and Martie are the loveliest hosts! The home is in a private and quiet neighborhood, the views are stunning, and it’s located near plenty of stores, parks, and an affordable all day parking lot to public transportation. I would love to stay with Dennis and Martie on my next trip out to Washington!

The unit is new and beautifully decorated. It is basically a very spacious studio apartment with an immense bathroom that includes a shower large enough for two and a luxurious bathtub. One wall of the entire unit is virtually floor to ceiling windows looking out over Puget Sound and the mountains to the west. We stayed while visiting family who live close and will 100% definitely stay here again on future visits.

We love this property! It's not only convenient to family who live in the area, it is one of the most beautiful settings imaginable. All the appointments are luxurious, no cheap paper goods or threadbare towels. A very peaceful setting.
