Welcome Back! Cozy Cabin in Chimney Rock! Short walk to town!

*WE ARE OPEN for bookings beginning June 27th! We are so excited to welcome guests back!

Our cozy cabin is centrally located just above Main Street approximately 0.4 miles to downtown Chimney Rock and 1 mile from Lake Lure beach. This perfect mountain getaway will make you feel right at home with its up to date amenities while still feeling the 1940's charm. You can even get a view of Chimney Rock from the property in the fall/winter!

PERFECT LOCATION! Bring your walking shoes, our cabin is located one street back up the hill from main street in downtown Chimney Rock! This walkable cabin has a full kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and everything you need for your stay. After a restful nights sleep wake up and enjoy a cup of coffee on the enclosed front porch or outside on the back patio.

PLEASE NOTE: There is only ONE parking spot at the house.

*please note, not everything is open after hurricane Helene and some routes to/from Asheville are still unavailable* Area amenities include Lake Lure beach, hiking, shopping, zip lining and miniature golf. There are a variety of restaurants in the area as well as a local winery Burntshirt Vineyards and Hickory Nut Gorge Brewery.

You are 0.6 miles from the entrance of Chimney Rock State Park, 23 miles from Asheville with Hendersonville only 16 miles away. Asheville regional airport is 26 miles away. It is a 26 mile drive to the historic Biltmore Estate. The Tryon International Equestrian Center is 20 miles away.

We allow up to 2 dogs and charge a fee of $65 for the first dog and $25 for the second. Friendly and well behaved pups only, please! :)

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please throw used towels into the washer and start the washer. *This really helps our housekeeper stay on schedule*
Please be sure to close the latch on the trash can as the local bears are hungry!
Please be sure the fireplace is turned off it was used.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Chimney Rock

Very charming cottage on a quiet street. Peaceful. Only a 1 minute drive into Chimney Rock for restaurants and cool brewery on the Broad River. I’d stay there again, for sure! 😊

Awesome!! Little cabin was just the right size for us two. And our two dogs. Met some awesome neighbors . In the house as your going out on your left facing the road. Thank You So much!! I hope to vidit again. As we hated to leave. Such a nice quit neighborhood.

Great little cabin in woods

Had a great time at this property, size was perfect for mom, myself and a dog. House was just uphill from town of chimney rock . Park entrance was very short drive as well as Lake Lure and a gorgeous drive in any direction. Definitely recommended

Birthday getaway for my husband

This is an amazing property. Very clean, quiet and it is a very small drive from The Chimney Village and Lake Lure. The property manager was great with communication. We ended up extending our stay one night. We will definitely be back in a few months!!

We totally enjoyed the cabin/house. Clean home, rooms as described and common amenities all there. Good location for Lake Lure activities and restaurants. Host communicated through email. Check out instructions clearly stated on the fridge. We are looking forward to maybe coming back in the Fall.

Great but…

I recently stayed at this home and overall had a positive experience. The location was nice, and the amenities were satisfactory. However, the internet service was a bit patchy, which made viewing TV and looking up hours to nearby places somewhat challenging. Despite this minor inconvenience, everything else was great. Would consider staying again in the future.

Lovely House

Absolutely recommend this house. It’s perfect for a family with a dog. It was very clean and updated. Appreciated 2 couches in living space. Everyone had a space to sit and watch tv and hang out (other than a bed or kitchen chair). Wifi was good. Close to all that Chimney Rock and Lake Lure have to offer. Easy access in/out. Owner very responsive. Would totally stay again.

Perfect for the 3 of us

My wife and I brought our 15-year-old son to chimney rock for two nights and this was the perfect cabin for us. Believe what they say about parking. There is one spot. Finding it was easy. We could have walked into chimney rock if we’d wanted to, but after a day of hiking in the park, we grabbed a pizza and enjoyed the comfort of the cabin. Would recommend!

Retro experience

We had an ok stay. House itself was clean and cosey. Terrace and gas bbq needed some cleaning. The house is shady with little views. Interior is retro, with much personal touch and care and items provided in the kichen. The lake has a paid beach closing end of afternoon. paidbeachbeachbeachwithtafternoonafafteroon which was a pitty for us.

We had good time and the location was not bad and walking distance to town. My only two complaints are the shower is very small. I am small build and it was difficult for me to maneuver in the shower. My partner is slightly bigger and he could not move around at all in the shower. The road to the property is straight up a single road. If you were to meet anyone coming up or down, there would be an issue. The house was clean and slept good.
