The cottage comes equipped with linens for the 2 queen size beds, towels, an outdoor shower, parking for three spaces. Enjoy this cottage in Matunuck situated directly across from the Atlantic Ocean and walking distance to Potter Pond. Rhode Island fishing and surfing is right at your fingertips and you can smell the ocean in the air. You can walk to the steps of East Matunuck State Beach (.7 miles) or South Kingstown Town Beach (.4 miles) with multiple other beaches a short drive away. Make your vacation as peaceful, or as busy, as you desire. This place is great for couples or families to hang out at your own private cottage, watching the sunset, grilling a meal, or soaking in the sunshine. Experience the active nightlife just around the corner with some live music or walk to get an ice cream sundae. Matunuck truly is an enjoyable place. World famous Newport, RI or the Block Island ferry is within a half hour drive. This place is a perfect beach getaway!

The cottage was perfect for our one-night stay. It had all the necessary amenities, a nice front porch and back deck, and was super clean. It is in a great location within walking distance to really everything we needed for entertainment, good food and the beach. We had excellent communication with the host and check in was a breeze. We would definitely stay there again, but hopefully longer next time!

Cute cottage!

Had a great stay at Mark's cottage for our weekend at the Rhythm and Roots Festival and beach. The property is in a great location, steps from the beach, clean and easily accessible. Mark was a very accommodating host and would definitely stay again.

Perfect location and accommodation

Loved this cottage for our family of four. Had everything we needed to be comfortable, cook meals, beach days, rainy days, full package. Walking distance to the beach was very convenient. Loved the town and area to walk around at night and for morning strolls. Mark was responsive and easy to communicate with. Would stay here again.

Flooded

On Sunday 7/16 we were “flooded in” by a huge rainstorm. I believe it was a nor’easter. Missed my family reunion that evening flooded almost to 2nd step. We were the only house flooded in such a way.
