Thanksgiving stay in Bird Rock

The house was super clean, well appointed and decorated and has beautiful Ocean views. The pool and hot tub are also very nice. And the location is great. A very short walk to the beach and close to the restaurants and shops of La Jolla Blvd.

We loved the house, it was super clean, well appointed and a great location. The spa/pool were awesome and we used them every day. Rental company was very responsive and check in was a breeze. Would absolutely stay there again.

Amazing family spring break

Great location and setup for our family of 5! Our favorite things were sitting in the "it's a vibe" sitting area and drinking our morning coffee and then coming back from a long day of site seeing to watch the sunset in front of the fire table and soak in the hot tub.

Great stay!

We loved everything about our stay. The house was clean, had more than enough storage for luggage, clothing, etc. very thoughtfully laid out. Communication was timely and they were always available if something came up. The pool was a highlight- even though it was the end of November, we asked them to heat its and the temperature was perfect for swimming and using the hot tub. Would stay again.

Birdrock stay

This property was absolutely perfect for our stay. We were visiting our daughter and her family over the 4th of July along with her sister, husband and 18 month old. The house was extremely clean and the pool/spa was wonderful. The house is within walking distance of coffee shops, and restaurants. Will definitely stay here again on another visit !

Not a hitch in any category. Best rental out of about four over the past few years. Clean and super comfortable. Would just recommend a flat surface to put things down on in the second bedroom and a liquid measuring cup. Maybe a few more kitchen garbage bags as well

Paradise is right

This place was great. Obviously newly remodeled, nothing about it was “tired.” Great open living space, huge tv’s, great sound system and a little backyard oasis w the pool/spa. Also, no logistical problems which is always my concern with rentals. Our family of 6 had a blast.

Everything you need in central location

House was fully stocked with everything you need to cook and enjoy your stay. Centrally located making it easy to do a day at the Zoo, Sea World and beaches. Management company was great in helping us work with a vendor to rent equipment for the baby for our stay which included a crib, booster seat and several beach items which made traveling with a toddler so much easier. Everything was there when we arrived and picked up after we left. Highly recommend.

Pacific views

An open floor plan made this home very spacious. Beautiful pool with hot tub and multiple chaise lounges offered a lot of outdoor space. The unit came complete with multiple kitchen appliances, outdoor grill and outdoor firepit. The only negative comment is the bathroom showers could have been cleaner. The location was perfect with walking access to the Pacific and shops on LaJolla Blvd.

Great family vacation stay

Our family of four had a wonderful time during our stay. We especially loved staying in such a great neighborhood. The house was great and well appointed. We had issues with a couple of the amenities not working properly. But management was very responsive in trying to fix the issues. And when the issues weren't going to be fully fixed during our stay, were fair in compensating us for the troubles. Do despite the issues, we would recommend or stay again in the future.

5 star Bird Rock Beach House

Well appointed beach home with hot tub and beautiful pool. Near beach in desirable Bird Rock. Indoor/Outdoor living with top quality outdoor bar/grill area. Family had a great time grilling out and watching late night movies on big screen. Sonos throughout house. Every possible amenity and excellent follow up from property manager. Quiet upscale neighborhood. Nice garage for parking. Will be our go to spot in SD area.

Sweet Little Spot in Bird Rock

Cute home obviously recently updated with a modern appeal. Walking distance to beaches, shops & restaurants. Comfy beds and plenty of space for our party of 6 (2 adults & 4 kids). We were in San Diego looking at colleges for our 17 yr. old daughter and her friend & had 2 12 year old boys as well. Could use more seating in main living room as it was a squeeze getting all 6 of us on 1 couch for movie night. Listing stated Bluetooth Sonos but it wasn't working and maintenance couldn't fit it. The main issue is the camera in back facing the pool and hot tub which was not in the listing and also against VRBO policy. It was disturbing to think someone could be watching our teen girls and young boys...and I was uncomfortable as well. I did not want to bring it up while we were staying there mostly because I didn't want to have to pack everyone up & find a different place to stay. When I brought it to the management company after we checked out they said its for emergencies only, and is not against VRBO policy which it clearly is: "Outdoor cameras covering pools and hot tubs that were disclosed on the property details page and in a reasonably discoverable location such as a welcome binder, a notice on the wall of a high-traffic common space, or a placard next to the entry point itself. The disclosure must specify that pool/hot tub is in coverage area of device". It's unfortunate they weren't willing to compensate us for our troubles.
