Private community beach walkways and beautiful oceanfront community pool provide for a comfortable and relaxed vacation.

We thoroughly enjoy staying at Sandpiper Court. The house is just the right size for our family and is always clean and tidy when we arrive. We love being right on the beach with a swimming pool too. And the kitchen is sufficiently well stocked with dishes and cookware to allow us to cook, without eating out all the time. It’s a great place to stay!

Our second stay in the “pink house” and it was just as great as the first one 2 years ago. The space is well suited for our family. A Class Act Host who really cares about your stay and experience!

Mr. Ellis, owner of the property, is a tremendous host. Not only was he extremely communicative and responsive but was also very accommodating despite some minor, albeit unforeseen issues, that we encountered during our stay. We understand the complexities of beach home ownership and their idiosyncrasies and so we communicated these concerns to Mr. Ellis. He was more than understanding of our situation and made things right for us so that everyone was satisfied. We will definitely consider going back to this lovely home and location on the beach! Great place to stay, very clean with numerous amenities. However, planned our grocery shopping for the week around the 2:00 pm check in time as specified on my receipt and the VRBO site. Upon arrival, the owner was still there in the pool and told us check in wasn’t until 4:00 and that it said 4:00 on the VRBO site. My son pulled up the site and showed him the site, in fact, did say 2:00. We were concerned because of all the perishable foods we needed to refrigerate. The owner finally departed the home around 3:00.

A beautifully decorated home and a great location

I’m a frequent renter of upscale properties and this was the most beautifully appointed home I have rented on VRBO. The photos really do not do this property justice. I’m addition, I felt that the rental price was so favorable that I initially had doubts that this listing was real lol! I can assure you that it is! The property is located in a small private community where all of the other houses aesthetically match, and that might bring you more enjoyment than you may initially think. The property is conveniently located for Atlantic Beach activities, the house is right by the large private community pool, and beach access was good - you do have to walk a little bit but the path is direct and easy to navigate. The ocean view is stunning. Although it was not clear from the listing, the house has an elevator, very good Internet speed, and real cable TV as well. The property owners were very nice and communication was good. I hope to visit again and highly recommend!

The house is adorably decorated. It had everything we needed for a week at the beach, the beds were comfortable, the linens/towels were clean and plentiful, and the owner was super easy to deal with and responsive. The best part, though, is the location—you are right on the beach! Also—all the great restaurants in that area are a quick drive away. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!

Nick's family home was beautiful. Nick was so responsive to any questions and his home made us feel like we were at a family vacation spot, not in a rental. The home felt warm, homey, loved, and enjoyed. It was the best trip and my nieces, nephews, and many cousins in a nearby unit LOVEd having the oceanfront access and pool all with sight. It was so fun for older generations to be able to sit on the third floor balcony and watch us and grandkids on the beach and down at the pool. It made them feel a part of things even if they weren't able or wanting to go down to the beach. It was a quiet, loving, community-oriented place. Couldn't imagine a better place.

Amazing house

The house rental exceeded our expectations. Although there were only two of us, this house would easily accommodate another 10 people. We spent most of our time on the top floor which had a stunning view of Atlantic Beach (which was mildly obstructed by the pool house). There is a short path between the houses that takes you to the pool house and ultimately onto the beach. It was an easy walk that we made many, many times. Apparently dolphins are known to frequent this location and we saw several throughout our stay. The beach was never crowded but that may be more a function of when we chose to go (May). There were some minor inconveniences in the house such as no extra toilet paper, running out of liquid hand soap, etc., but none of these were significant or altered our experience in any way.

Why they chose this property

My parent always vacationed near Atlantic Beach in our pop up, Cox camping trailer when I was a kid. I had great memories and always said if I could afford it, that's where I wanted to have a house. As an adult I was attracted to the relaxed, non-commercial atmosphere. The people in the area are very inviting and fun. In addition with all the amenities and great restaurants in Atlantic Beach, nearby Morehead City and Beaufort it is the perfect get away. We also love the nice wide beaches and the great fishing in the area. You just can't beat it.

What makes this property unique

Beachfront with a community pool which is situated in the dunes. Our house is a few steps from the pool and has steps down to the pool entrance on the master bedroom.
