Absolutely incredible family vacation! Believe it or not SO MUCH TO DO! We went fishing with kids down by the water at cabin , the guys also did a fishing charter one day and we tried the fish after (Louisiana natives) , fire every night , BBQ, girls went shopping and lunch in eureka , whole family went zip lining , big cat sanctuary, and a feed the animals type safari !! My kids said they like this place better than Gatlinburg ! The cabin was also fantastic . So kid and family friendly .I swear we barely saw the kids while in the cabin. They were obsessed with the loft and the play room downstairs !! Mr Richard was super attentive to my zillion questions and just an overall A plus !
We had a great family getaway with our kids and grandkids. It was plenty of space for the 10 of us and the house had games for the kids and adults to enjoy at night after a day of fishing. We all enjoyed the stay and would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a secluded getaway especially if you have larger groups. Richard was very communicative and responded promptly & courteous to all my messages.
I give it 3 stars only because the host was so nice and welcoming, he allowed us to check in an hour early and his response time was almost immediate. The parking situation, not the best for us since we drive a truck. Once in the house of course we noticed the main bathroom had a poo stain on the toilet seat, as if someone didn't wipe correctly and then sat too far back. The downstairs shower was very dirty, a lot of built-up grime in the tub and old shampoo/ conditioner that looked like it had been there a while. We were made aware of the fridge door not working properly right before check in and were advised to use the fridge in the pantry if we wished to, door ended up falling completely off on my mother in law, while she was trying to close it. There was a blower available for us to use to clean up the leaves and play house, but it unfortunately did not work, i was told there was a hardware store in town and that I was more than welcome to drive there and buy a new 1 and I'd be reimbursed... We decided to look for a broom that ended up snapping in half almost immediately!! Kids were scared to play in the play house due to all the leaves and spiderwebs, theres a game table downstairs with nets for the kids, they tried to pull it out to play and it completely collapsed because one of the legs was broken. I felt like a pain asking for stuff since we had just arrived and nothing was going our way, so I just let it be.

Adalee house
Water was absolutely horrible smelt like rotten eggs and sewage. Couldn’t brush our teeth with it had to use water bottles. Parking is terrible if you pull in it’s very tight to turn around we brought boats it was not fun getting in and out the pictures make the parking look like more room than what it is but it’s very tight
House is great! A hidden gem off the path, but wonderful view! 8 adults and we had plenty of room for everyone. If you have kids, the loft would be great! GREAT communication from the owners and really enjoyed ourselves.
This property was super nice. If you needed something, they had it. Communication was very quick, they had answers to your question almost as soon as you asked. Games for the kids were a plus. The only down side was the steepness getting to the water. I would definitely recommend this property and hope to go again.
So impressed with the home. We had a wonderful stay, our big kids enjoyed all the games,(large connect four, shuffle board, spike ball and many others) and the littles loved the play room and the loft. We enjoyed the porch swings, including a baby swing, the play house with attached slide, the hammock was so relaxing along with the fire pit. Also loved how this home provides a high chair! Very clean and well stocked! Such a peaceful and beautiful location!
