We are minutes from the major downhill ski areas of Schuss, Summit and Cedar River and five top-notch golf courses, The Chief, The Legend, Schuss, Summit and Cedar Village. This 1600 square foot cabin is cozy and comfortable with beautiful views all around. There are four bedrooms with four full attached bathrooms - great for families, a weekend getaway for the ladies or gentlemen or just for a couple! Come enjoy the quiet comfort of our cabin, sitting in front of our quaint fireplace with a glass of Michigan wine or hot cocoa while the snow falls all around you. This cozy cabin offers four bedrooms, four bathrooms and a full kitchen that spaciously opens up into the dining & living room area. Use the large deck that goes around three sides of the cabin for barbeques, fires at night or just to take in the views. Also available is a two-car detached garage for your boat, snow mobiles or quads with easy access to get in and out on our circular driveway.

This home is set in a great community in the Schuss Mountain /Shanty Creek Resort area and is available for rent weekends or a week. Michigan’s Northern Wonderland offers something for everyone in your family. Here at Schuss Mountain our winter wonderland begins with the ski runs that offer thrills and excitement for all levels and age groups. We have well groomed snow mobile trails that travel for miles. Our competition cross country ski trails offers an opportunity to view some of Antrim County’s beautiful landscapes. For summer fun we are in the middle of the popular “chain of lakes” for both recreational boating & sport fishing, Bellaire offers blue ribbon fly fishing in the Cedar River.

If golfing is more your style then your dream awaits you! You can’t go wrong with your choice of challenging courses right here in the resort area: Schuss, Cedar River, The Legend, Hawks Eye and The Chief, just to name a few. There are great restaurants here in the resort area such as Ivan’s at Schuss Mountain (open during ski season) and the Pelican's Nest or the famous Shorts Brewery in downtown Bellaire. You also won’t want to miss some of our other local favorites like The Bellaire Bar and the Bellaire Smokehouse for white fish sausage or pate and smoked Salmon. You should also include touring the very popular Northern Michigan wineries featuring over 50 different wineries for some awesome “wine tasting.”

Beyond the resort, you will be minutes from great shopping, entertainment and casinos in the nearby Villages of Alden, Elk Rapids and Charlevoix where you can “shop” and “play”. Traverse City, Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Mackinac are also within an hour of our cabin for exciting day excursions!
