We enjoyed our stay at Turtely Awesome despite the incoming hurricane. The house was very nice and well appointed. We loved how empty the beach was and seeing all of the wildlife nearby. Our only recommendation is to add a light at the base of the stairs before the split stair landing. Several of us missed the last step in the dark because we couldn't see it. Other than that it was a great place to stay. We hope to come back one day so we can enjoy it with better weather!

We loved this property! Cleanliness was 10/10 and the view is stunning. I loved the decor and furniture was well placed and comfortable. My only suggestions would be to provide beach towels and maybe one more tv in the house would be nice. We would stay again.

Great house and location! We were very appreciative of it being dog friendly and would stay here again in a heartbeat. We had a minor issue upon check-in and the hosts were very responsive and had it fixed quickly.

The house was very clean and had a great layout for couples or families, with every room having its own full bathroom. We loved the lift, which made it easy to bring up our luggage and groceries. We didn't realize it had one, so that was a pleasant surprise! The kitchen is the most well-equipped of any rental I've ever stayed in. The appliances are top-notch, and the cookware wasn't cheap and scratched up. We really appreciated that since we cooked a few nights. We were there during peak lovebug season, which was a downside. There was an infestation on the deck, which made it hard to enjoy sitting out there and getting in/out the door without them coming in with you. The beach was nice. It is car/golf cart friendly. Be aware that the channel current can be pretty swift the farther you go out, and it gets deeper just a few feet out. We rented paddleboards through VayKLife, which was offered through the house rental. They deliver and pick up, which was great. Going upstream was quite the workout. If we had life jackets, we would have gone across to St. Vincent Island. We love this area and the location. You are away from everything, but a short drive to Cape San Blas, Port St. Joe, or Apalachicola. The oysters in this area are the best! Our only complaint is that the dining room/living area didn't have window blinds, and the bunk room could use blinds or darkening curtains instead of sheer ones. Minor details that wouldn't stop us from staying here again.

We loved everything about this property. It was very clean and neat with beautiful views of St Vincent WMA and the ocean. We were thrilled with the dolphins and an eagle who visited every day. The kitchen was fully equipped and well planned with anything we could need. We highly recommend this property and will definitely stay here again.

I think my only complaint are pretty minor. There’s only one small TV on the property and for us to stay for one week. We only received one garbage bag and one roll of toilet paper for bathroom. We went and purchased toilet paper and garbage bags other than that, the place is very clean. I would rent from these people again.

Cleanliness of home. But when you first walk in you get jaw dropping tired of the sun, beach, pass and St Vincent Island. It doesn’t get much better than this. The home was very comfortable. Am planning another stay here.

Indian pass getaway

Great place to stay. Plenty of room for everyone and so close to the beach. The top deck balcony had the most beautiful view. We absolutely loved it!
