Very welcoming for our little yorkies! They loved having the freedom to run and explore outside on the fenced/gated upper deck. Home was warm and welcoming with everything you needed for a weekend away!
The drive to the cabin was beautiful, and when we arrived it immediately reminded me of trips from my younger days staying at our family lake house. It had that comfortable, relaxing feel from the moment we got there. The cabin was a great fit for the three of us. Having two bathrooms was definitely a plus, and we really appreciated having access to a washer and dryer, especially since we were in the area for our daughter’s wedding and had several events to attend. We also loved having two decks, and one of our favorite things was stepping outside and hearing the water flowing nearby. The cabin was very nicely decorated, comfortable, and you can tell the owners have put a lot of work and thought into the property. The location worked really well for us too, putting us within about 30 minutes of everywhere we needed to be.Our only regret was not staying longer. With all of the wedding events, we didn’t have nearly as much time as we would have liked to simply relax at the cabin and explore the area. We did make it into downtown West Jefferson a couple of times and really enjoyed it.We had a great stay and would definitely rent this cabin again. Next time, hopefully we can stay a little longer and spend more time enjoying the cabin, the decks, and the sound of the water.
This cabin is situated in a nice, quiet neighborhood off of the parkway. The outdoor space is great with the two-tiered decks. The stream and small waterfall behind the cabin provides some extra ambiance. The inside is modern and well kept. The hosts were very communicative and helpful. Overall a great place for a short or long stay!
Very cozy and dog friendly spot. I wouldn’t put anyone over 6’ in the loft. Loved the decor and all pillows and blankets and the deck and outdoor living is amazing. Truly relaxing and a great spot to getaway from it all. Kitchen was stocked with the essentials and all the toiletries were in the bathrooms. I would recommend
Attended a wedding at Summit on Cross Mountain and chose this cabin for its location to the venue. And it didn't disappoint. The cabin was tucked away on the mountain side, overlooking a small waterfall and creek out the back deck. You can always hear the water running anytime you open the windows or step out onto the deck. The cabin itself has a small quaint comfortable interior. Very well maintained and cleaned. It was everything I had imagined and more. We didn't have time to do too much due to the wedding, but lounging around inside the cabin and out on the deck was absolutely perfect! We didn't have any issues with the property or the location and I would 100% recommend staying here if you're looking for a secluded getaway in the mountains
The cabin was clean and well stocked. All our needs were met and then some. The host seemed to anticipate all we would need to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable. We will be back!
