This is a quiet and lovely property. The cottage was obviously well cared for andwell stocked. A great place to come for relaxation and conveniently located to local attractions.

The house was clean and nicely decorated. Super comfortable and very peaceful. Loved sitting on the porch and enjoying the view. If you are looking to get away and enjoy the peace and quiet in the woods, this is the place for you. I highly recommend staying here and we will be back.

Peggy and Jon were fabulous hosts. They responded to every message promptly. Within a few hours. The house reminded me of my grandmas house. I have no complaints with the house. There is 1 bathroom but we made it work. This is my 3rd time staying here and I would absolutely stay again. River access down the road. Float outfitter picked us up for our float and returned us.Everyone in my family enjoyed the stay. Nobody complained about anything. Peggy and Jon, thank you for a great family weekend.

This place is a real Jewel! Everything about it is top notch. But what really stands out is its “soul”. By that I mean the kindness and attentiveness of the host, Peggy. Peggy and Jon were great! The cottage is beautiful and so is the view from the front porch. They had everything there that you would want or need for the most pleasant,comfortable stay you could ask for. All the special touches that they have inside and out show how much they care about the cottage and how special they want their guests to feel about it as well. Perfect Family Getaway

This was our 3rd stay at Viola's Cottage. We highly recommend it. This home has so many "little extras" like labeling the cabinets for easier finds, firewood, outdoor seating, bug spray, all the dishes/pot/pans/crockpot you need to make a meal. Seasonings,plenty of towels, toilet paper, trash bags, etc. So many extra touches. The onwers are easy to talk to, stopping by to say hello and to check if everything is suitable?! Check in was easy. The property is beautiful to view while drinking coffee on the covered porch! We've seen deer and turkey! We absolutely love it. 10/10

I’m not given to hyperbole, but Viola’s Cottage exceeds expectations. It is spacious, well furnished, and the host labeled everything to make the stay easy, including which electrical switch controlled what, and what was in each cabinet. The property is not far from the highway, but seems an eternity away from hustle and bustle. You can almost sense the presence of Grandma Viola who lived there years ago. There’s a palpable peace about the place. I could say so much more, but space does not allow. Suffice it to say that the accommodations, the beautiful peaceful location on the hill, the privacy and quiet, and the attentiveness of the host make this one of the best deals you’ll find on VRBO. As most of the other reviews reflect, you can’t really experience how wonderful this place is, until you actually experience it.

Beautiful home

Came to town with the family for a reunion and the home is perfect. Kids love the area and the river is a short walk away. Highly recocomend.
