BYOB or buy from the charming General store up the hill.
Sue Hawks runs a lobster pound if you want to buy live critters to cook at home (pot is on the top shelf of the kitchen closet). She also carries locally made gifts.
The Cundys Harbor library is a sweet place offering local programs.

About the host
Hosted by Holly Pulsifer
Our family has been summering in this part of Maine since 1900 and feel so fortunate to be able to spend time in such an authentic, unspoilt and accessible part of the coast. We hope you will come and enjoy it too!
Why they chose this property
This cottage has been in the family for decades and three generations have memories of eating whoopie pies in the kitchen. Hoover the harbor seal even lived in the pond one summer while he was being rehabilitated before moving to the Boston Aquarium.
What makes this property unique
The cottage has a long history and rooms are traditionally small with the exception of the spacious living room. Exposed beams in the second floor bedrooms could be a challenge for tall guests. This is a great house for a family, but may feel tight for adults who intend to stay inside all day (who would want to do that anyway?).
We prepare the cottage for short term rental in the summer, but please inquire if you would like to discuss a longer term rental off season.
