Great location! We enjoyed our stay and the host manager was responsive when the hot water tank began leaking. I assume it was replaced immediately after our stay. We would return next time we plan to vacation in the area.
Perfect home for our family's get away. It had everything we needed for a comfortable, home-away-from home stay. The grandkids loved it! Definitely suited for families and grandkids. It was clean, perfectly appointed, plenty of beds and bathrooms, not to mention the outdoor space. We will definitely be back.
The hot tub was great and the main floor was were we hung out most of the time. I didn’t realize there was no toiletries like shampoo and body wash available. We had a great time!

The house and view are beautiful! It had everything we needed and then some.
We had a great family vacation at the Woodland Park retreat. We had 8 adults, 2 small kids and a baby. The house was perfect for our family. The kids loved the playground and seeing deer and turkeys. The hot tub was a favorite of all of ours. The house was clean and very accommodating. The host also got back to me very quickly when I had a question.
Another pleasant stay for our group! The house is clean, comfortable and well stocked for our needs. We have been coming down for almost 10 years now and have not been disappointed.
We stayed for 6 nights for our summer family vacation. The listing doesn’t state there’s no AC & coming from out of state, we had no idea homes in the mountains don’t typically have AC. The cabin would get up to 85 during the day, a bit toasty for mid-July. The dryer was also broken until our last day so we weren’t able to do laundry & we packed assuming we would launder our clothes 1/2 way through our trip. The cabin is beautiful & spacious, we still had a wonderful vacation & the location is breathtaking.
Excellent communication and super helpful with our needs. The house was great, comfortable and clean. Everything you need for your get away in the mountains!
Our group of five, gathers to visit, catch up and play cards over a long weekend. WPR has the space and comfort that makes this a perfect place for our gatherings.
We chose this property because it was close to a friend’s house where we were celebrating a birthday. The location was great for us: we loved walking at Manitou Lake and the trip into Woodland Park was easy. The house has lovely views into the surrounding forest and is very private.
This property is wonderful. The location is superb! We saw wild turkey's and deer. The house is comfortable. We enjoyed our time lounging and relaxing!
This cabin was a nice place to stay. I am glad we had a Jeep with 4x4. Be aware if it rains a lot, you should have 4x4, it is on a very long dirt/gravel road and back in the trees. Other than that, it was a very neat location and really comfortable. We would definitely go back!
Fun mountain adventure, tucked away, yet close enough to amenities. Worked perfectly for our family. Be prepared for stairs inside, or outside on deck to access main living level, and intermittent wifi. Appreciated the well stocked kitchen. This home helped make our stay great!
We had a wonderful stay at Woodland Park Retreat. The host was amazing to work with. Check in and check out process was very easy. The home is beautiful and well stocked. Peaceful location with stunning views. While still close to attractions like pikes peak and garden of the gods. We enjoyed the wildlife and got to see wild Turkey, a fox and plenty of deer. Highly recommend this home for your next Colorado vacation.
We came for son’s USAFA graduation. Our family of six kids had so much fun cooking nice meals, relaxing in the hot tub, walking around the Ridgeway neighborhood, and visiting local attractions, like Manitou Park Lake and the Manitou Incline.
