Charming Farmhouse with pool, near Belleayre Catskill Park. EV Level 2 charger

Less than two miles to Belleayre ski center and 15 minutes to Plattekill, our restored 5 bedroom farmhouse with 20' x 40' pool, A pool house offers dining and a kitchette for al fresco dining and beautiful views of the mountains. The farmhouse is close to hiking, beach swimming as well as skiing. The living room which is next to the large entrance sitting room has a couch and club chairs. It has a big screen Smart TV set up for streaming; high speed wifi throughout. The modern kitchen with a large dining area offers all appliances with a washer/dryer in the pantry. Four of the bedrooms are on the second floor, one has a bay window. All have lovely views of the mountains. The fifth bedroom. once known as the day man's room, is on the first floor next to the kitchen. The house has two full bathrooms, a mudroom for ski storage and a front porch with rockers and looks out over the gardens and the mountains.

Charming farmhouse

We have spent a week there (Christmas to New Year). 5 minutes drive to Belleayre ski center, which is our main interest for the week. So nothing to complain, except the weather...

A great place to stay!

It was an amazing experience! The location was perfect, just a short drive from Belleayre, making it incredibly convenient for skiing.We arrived during a storm, and the host had the driveway plowed and salted first thing in the morning, which made our first run to the slopes smooth and hassle-free.One of the standout features was the charging station on the property. It was such a relief not to have to hunt down a charger during our stay.The hostess truly takes pride in the property, and it shows in every detail. The house was well-maintained, spacious, and inviting. We definitely plan on staying here again on our next trip!Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient getaway!

I would not recommend booking this house. The house was old, rustic, delicate, and creaky. The treads and risers on the stairs are all separated from the stringers on the stairs. They’re extremely creaky and you feel as though you will fall through to the basement. The top post piece was broken off and just sitting there so when you grab it for suppprt it comes right off. The main bathroom had a claw foot tub with an improperly installed dbar, using Sheetrock anchors not designed to suppprt weight or for a ceiling mount installation. I bring this up because the homeowners reached out to VRBO that I broke their dbar support and VRBO charged my credit card over 100 without ever reaching out to me and talking about this. I was the ONLY one to shower in that tub because the children were scared. There were 4 plastic shower curtains piece mealed together around the entire tub. The plastic was just sitting on the inside of the tub while showering. Perhaps the cleaning crew damaged the tub while cleaning and not me.Thishouse is extremely fragile and the homeowners will charge you regardless of what you say you did or didn’t do.

Breezy Hill Farmhouse is a renovated building which my family used for many years. It is sound, stable and charming. The stairs do creak as any those on any older house but they are safe and not fragile. We have been renting the house to skiers for many years and never once had a complaint. The house was recently inspected for insurance purposes and passed with flying colors. Part of renting is taking responsibility for the property. There were 4 adults and 5 children in the renting party. Perhaps one of them other than Danielle pulled the shower curtain bar down and ripped the shower curtain. I reached out to VRBO about the damage and followed their advice. I am sorry Danielle was unhappy about the charge for the repair. I am unhappy about the damage and especially disappointed in Danielle’s responses to my outreach and photos sent as evidence. Michelle
