Perfect spot to relax and access so much of this region! Super comfy beds, loved the fire pit! Very well stocked house with more than you can imagine!!
Loved our stay - perfect getaway in mountain area … so wonderful; perfect for us and our two dogs !! They thought of everything and it’s close drive to things to do /eat. Definitely hope to come back again!
Anna the host was great to work with, responsive and clear. The property is clearly well used but clean. The lack of a dishwasher required some pre-washing of dishes prior to use, but that may well be my picky nature in this regard!Overall we would certainly choose to check availability at this location in the event we visit Flagstaff for an extended stay in the future.
The property was clean and no steps made it easily accessible to both us and our elderly dog. The outdoor seating and fire pit are a nice spot to enjoy the night time stars and elk. Access to nearby trails is a big plus to walkers like us.
My stay was wonderful. The property was listed as advertised, was very clean, and the property manager was very responsive. I had my dog there with me and he loved it. It was a great location to work from, and hiking nearby too.
Definitely pet friendly! Pupper loved exploring the backyard. Very comfortable to hang out in. Anna was very quick to respond when we had a question! Bath could have been a little cleaner, but didn't affect the experience. We will be back.
Private, quiet, relaxing. Everything we needed was at the cottage. We were able to leave our dog in a secure kennel in the garage for a few hours while we went out.Enjoyed watching a deer come to the front yard.We hope to go back next year.
We had the best time at this cute little place. Our dogs loved the backyard and all the amenities. The gas firepit out front mad our nights extremely cozy. 10/10 would stay here again
Such great little place to stay, especially if you are traveling with a dog. Had just about everything you need to be comfortable ( bed was better than most hotels). We were happy with the neighborhood & the forest type feel. Was able to walk the dog up the street for a cool forest walk. Would stay again, I bet Christmas here would be awesome.
This was a great place to stay for the weekend. I had my dogs come with me and they loved the openness and the back yard where they had space to play and smell. Anna was so kind to send me trails near by for us to hike on. The place was perfect for our weekend get away. I look forward to staying in the future.
The cottage was just as advertised, cozy and comfortable with lots of privacy. We loved every room and the kitchen had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the front patio and eating among the beautiful Spruce trees. Our dog loved the yard. The pet enclosure in the garage was perfect for the one night we went out to dinner. We also appreciate that air conditioning units were added this summer, since the high temperatures were in the low 90s. It was very comfortable inside the entire cottage. We would definitely stay there again!
Anna’s cottage was the perfect cozy getaway to the snow with our two dogs. It was the perfect amount of space for my husband and I and our fur babies, and everything was incredibly comfortable. The enclosed backyard was spacious and perfect for our dogs to run and play in the snow, and making smores over the fire pit out front was so enjoyable at night. The cottage is secluded enough to feel peaceful and quiet, but close enough to town that we could have easily gone out to dinner if we had wished. Anna was very responsive to messages and was so kind and helpful as we were coordinating our travel around a big snowstorm. We love weekend getaways with our dogs and we would avsolutely stay here again in the future!

The rural area was nice & quiet with good access. Utilities worked well. Some constructive criticisms would be the beds were small & extremely uncomfortable. I think we got about four hours sleep each night. Bigger & more comfortable mattresses would greatly improve the stay. The constant do’s & dont’s around the cabin would be fine for my Daughter’s second grade class, but not for adults. Example, please put your towels in the washer before leaving, & squegy the shower doors after each shower. Guests are not house cleaners. The outside is not dog friendly. Grass would help. Clean up the pine cones. The sliding door needs repair. The only way I could close the door was by using all my muscle power. This VROB could be a nice place to stay if some action to comfort, like the cheap couch, could be addressed. Good luck. I hope you take this from people who would like to feel like being away from home can be a great experience not a disappointment.

Kathy, thanks for your feedback but you’re the only guest leaving us such a negative review. We have nothing but 5 star positive reviews from ALL of our other guests.
You booked a house with 2 queen beds but then complained the beds are too small…maybe next time you book a place with king beds if that’s your personal preference. Our mattresses are very comfortable and never had a single complaint about them actually and our couch happens to be high end.
You complain that the grass wasn’t green enough for you….we had snow last week and just ending the winter season sorry but we don’t control the weather.
Much luck to you.
