Perfect location!

Nice and spacious end unit in an amazing little community with a club house and beautiful pool area. Ice cream within walking distance and very close to Goose Rocks Beach as well! Property manager was incredibly helpful and kind. We didn’t want to leave!!

What a great vacation!

This was our second stay at Jim’s place so we felt right at home immediately. The condo was clean and welcoming upon arrival, beds are very comfortable and all the amenities you could need are available. We’ve already booked our return visit for next year!

The property was very nice, as well as was the condo, which was well equipped and appointed. The only issue was that VRBO had the wrong street number, which led to a stressful start.

Lower corner unit of apartment style condo was bigger than I expected! Easy accessible for unpacking( ie no climbing stairs) and close to the pool. Only 1 mile to Goose Rocks beach and like the option of having a pool to come back too! James was very responsive when I had any questions before our stay.

Great stay in September. The weather was wonderful. Beds are very comfortable. Condo was clean and just as pictured. Very close to Goose Rocks Beach. We enjoyed ice cream one night at Goose Rocks Dairy just down the path. Took a day trip to Bar Harbor and thoroughly enjoyed Acadia National Park - worth the ride! Loved going to Ogunquit and walking along Marginal Way, you don't want to miss that. James was very good to deal with. We had no issues at all.

Condo not maintained

We hoped for a clean condo and adequate appliances. However we found that The coffee maker was rusty, the washer dryer were old, floors were dirty, and purchased bug spray to kill ants and spiders to name a few things. The fitness center didn’t have decent equipment but that was not as important as the condo. Very sad my epic vacation for my milestone birthday had such poor accommodations.

It was ok

The booking and check in process were smooth. Everything worked as described, we had no glitches there. There was no description of needing to bring all of your own linens online and after spending what we did for a week (rates were upped quite a bit for the holiday week) I don't expect to find out last minute (48 hours before hand) that we need to find our own sheets or "we could rent them". Both pools were pretty gross. Our kids don't care so we went with it to keep our vacation fun but the indoor one was filthy and the outdoor one had a huge area blocked off. I will say it was nice to have a super shallow pool for the kids to play in safely. In the kitchen there were ants crawling around. There were traps but an exterminator is what is needed. When I wrote to him to at least ask for more ant traps all he said was he didn't have anymore in a one sentence reply. The shower works as a shower but there is next to no pressure and the hot water was questionable at times. The twin beds are quite wiggly. The main bed is super tall and slightly more stable. Upper plug in each outlet in many rooms didn't work. There are no instructions for the AC (we did figure it out). It was probably better than a hotel due to the ability to cook our own meals and function almost as we would at home. But for the amount charged he could have a little more sense of responsibility to his guests.

Adventure in Maine

This was a delightful condo in a peaceful resort setting. We were all very comfortable with the queen and twin beds and the pullout couch in the living room. The pools were great and very relaxing. We took several car trips to some nearby beaches and some small towns inland which were fun to see. We even spent a day in Boston as the drive was easy. We were very satisfied with our Maine vacation and would highly recommend this VRBO . James Connelly, the manager took care of all our needs and was very pleasant to work with. We greatly enjoyed our visit.

A lovely option close to GRB

We really enjoyed staying in Mr. Connolly's condo! The condo was clean and neat when we arrived and Mr. Connolly's communication made the check-in process seamless. We stayed here with our two young daughters and there was plenty of room for all of us. Everything in the condo worked and was as pictured. Despite its proximity to the beach and the happy, busy atmosphere of the complex, the condo was quiet at night, all beds were comfortable, and we all slept great! We highly recommend Mr. Connelly's condo!

Adorable condo

Adorable condo located about a mile from goose rocks beach. The beach is gorgeous!! White sand. We purchased a weekly beach pass which was 100.00 as it was more cost effective to do weekly. The condo is quaint, comfortable and quiet. Central AC was refreshing, small washer/dryer was helpful to wash bathing suits. There was five of us and we had plenty of room and never felt on top of each other. The condo has plenty of parking, basketball hoop, and the outdoor pool was the perfect end to a beach day. Next door is an ice cream dairy bar. It was our daily pm routine. Kiddie sizes are plenty for an adult. So delish!! Highly recommend. It’s about 10-12 mins to downtown kennebunkport where we walked around for fudge, souvenirs and the clam shack for delish seafood. Overall definitely worth the stay!! Highly recommend.

Perfect Maine Escape

We were very happy with our accomodations and the Kennebunk area. I deducted 1 * from the accuracy of online listing because linens were not included. This was the first rental we've been to that did not include lemons however I understand. We were traveling from Arizona to Maine so it made it a bit of a challenge to gather the linens we needed without overpacking our luggage. Thankfully we had family member a few hours away that were able to assist and loaning us the linens we needed for the condo. otherwise this is the one of the best vacations we've had and we've stayed at many VRBO's.

We loved our stay! The condo is the perfect size for our family of 4. Everything was updated and equipped with everything we needed. The resort was a nice quiet area with friendly neighbors - both vacationers like us and some condo owners. There was a very nice outdoor pool and kiddie pool that we used everyday. Goose Rocks beach is superb. Not too crowded with nice tame waters / though parking is very limited but the condo is close enough you can easily bike. Kennebunkport is chock full of things to do, amazing restaurants and just a quintessential New England experience. We can’t wait to do it again. Thank you, James!

Perfect.

This was our 4th summer in Goose Rocks and we usually stay on the other side of the Hwy, closer to the beach. However, as we were only staying for a week this year and booked a little later than usual, we gave the Resort and James' place a try. We couldn't have been happier. The space was perfect for our family of 4 (2 kids aged 7 and 10). The condo itself was spotless and had everything we needed: spacious enough so we weren't on top of each other, comfy beds (we didn't need to bring linens), well supplied kitchen with enough pots and pans for basic cooking, 2 washrooms and a washer/ dryer. We also appreciated the dining room table-- perfect for playing cards or eating together as a family. The kids loved the resort itself-- they made good use of the outdoor and indoor pools as an alternative to the beach, as well as the games room. While we missed being close to the beach, this was a great alternative with lots of different things to offer.

A very comfortable, relaxing vacation.

We enjoyed our stay, and found neighbors very pleasant and considerate. We had 3-4 adults staying at various times, and there was plenty of room. Kitchenware was sufficient, oval dining table had chairs for 4, but comfortably sits 6-8 if you have folding chairs. Master bedroom mattress very comfortable, and 2nd bedroom had comfortable twin beds. Good size main bathroom. Made use of both indoor and outdoor pools, as well as the close beautiful beach. Stayed for a month and felt right at home.

A great place to spend a week

We very much enjoyed our stay. The condo is "out of the town" but close to all. A great place to do daily explorations in southern Maine. We especially enjoyed the club house with the pool on site. We visited in late September so there was not much beaching going on but we could tell the beaches would be great during the season. The Tides Beach Club on Goose Rocks beach was closing for the winter soon but is a must go place for a great meal and cocktails. Recommended!

Wonderful condo in Maine

We spent a week in a two bedroom condo at Goose Rocks, near Kennebunkport, Maine, and our entire experience was wonderful. The condo was immaculately clean, spacious and comfortable. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips. We enjoyed the condo complex's outdoor pool and indoor pool/clubhouse. Regardless of where you go in the Kennebunkport area, including the beaches, parking is very limited and you'll pay for a parking everywhere. But the beaches are all gorgeous, and well worth the cost of parking. The area is beautiful and very family friendly. I can't tell you how much we hated for our stay at Goose Rocks to end.

Perfect, Quiet Location, Close to the Beach and all of wonderful Southern Maine

This was the perfect condo for our quick getaway to Maine, clean, exactly as described, with all the amenities and needs one would require when visiting the Southern Coast of Maine. The owner was great with his communication and help - and the unit was just what we needed for the week. On sunny days we were able to explore and visit the surrounding towns and beaches, rainy days we stay in and hung by the indoor pool and played games in the club house. At the condo everything was peaceful and quiet during our stay. Highly recommended this property.
