Perfect Getaway!
Great cozy cabin! We enjoyed grilling and eating on the deck by the fit pit and the hot tub was great after full days of trail riding. The drive way had plenty of room for our truck and trailer parking.

Short spring break trip
We went to visit the black hills, Mt Rushmore, and the badlands for a short trip. This cabin was wonderful to stay in for three families! It has plenty to do for all the kids and the separate living rooms worked well for adults to hang out in one area and the kids in the other!

"We had an amazing and peaceful time at the cabin. We enjoyed playing Pacman, and found everything we needed to cook our meals. The hot tub was perfect for four adults, and the location was ideal for all the activities we wanted to do. We have stayed at multiple VRBOs in the Black Hills region, and we would definitely return to this one. Jim was a pleasure to work with, and he always made certain we were satisfied."

We enjoyed our stay at Buffalo Trail Cabin. The cabin was exactly as shown online. It was great to have a functioning hottub at the end of the day - it held heat, was a good size and well maintained (which is not the always the case with rentals)! The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes/pans silverware etc and while we didnt end up using the laundry facilities, we always appreciate having them available. Kids really enjoyed the foosball and arcade downstairs! The location was great - super close to Terry Peak and in a good location for visiting sites and communities in the northern Black Hills.

The cabin was surprisingly large and had MORE than enough space, very clean and had a cozy feel. Communication was great. Kids really enjoyed the space, hot tub, games, smart TVs. Kitchen had everything you would need to cook complete meals and bathrooms were stocked sufficiently for a large group. Walking distance to Terry Peak and just minutes from Deadwood/Lead. Would highly recommend!

Great family stay!!!
Owners do an amazing job on every aspect!!! Perfect place for kids with arcade game and foosball table. The cabin provides enough space to break out into groups and not be on top of each other. It’s a quiet location with beautiful view and amazing getaway. Super close to Peak if you want to take that in and it’s not a bad drive into Lead and Deadwood. The owners really pay attention to every detail and they do a great job utilizing a local Baker so there are amazing cookies waiting for you. Great place to stay.
