Cozy getaway

It was a great spot for me and my friends as we grew up always going to the Delaware river to fish. With the river right in your backyard it makes for easy access and all day fishing and swimming! Property was clean and cozy!

This home is on the banks of the Delaware River the setting is beautiful. It's right off the road so you do hear the cars and trucks speed by but thankfully it was sporadic when we were there. The house is well appointed and very cute and comfortable. It does needs some upkeep and cleaning, The basement is damp but there was a dehumidifier going so it's a known issue. The windows and deck area could do with a good sweep/clean, the outdoor table needs to be fixed, and the grill needs cleaning and maintenance. The smaller cabin could also use a deep clean, there cobwebs in almost every corner. All that said, if those things aren't a big deal to you, you'll love the setting and location.

Cosy cabin for a thanksgiving stay

I booked the 2 cabins at this property for a group for a thanksgiving stay. The team at Red Cottage were so helpful and diligent, taking care to check-in during our stay and replying over what I imagine was a very busy thanksgiving time. The cabins themselves are just as pictured. It’s very cosy in the main house especially once the fires on. The 2nd cabin takes time to warm up and needs consistent fires to keep it warm. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there are plenty of chairs around the property you can bring in to accommodate a full house. Overall we really enjoyed the stay, it was a perfect place for a group of friends!
