And in the spring, enjoy the crisp fresh air and pristine clear water coming from the white capped green mountains.
This charming cottage boasts three cozy bedrooms, making it ideal for a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or a remote work retreat. Wake up to the breathtaking views of Lake Champlain and walk down the path to a hidden gem sandy beach that goes for hundreds of yards, in a unique shallow area of the lake - perfect for children of all ages! While in the fall, the Adirondacks and Green Mountains offer the unparalleled colors of fall foliage. In the spring, sit on the porch and discover the freshness of the crisp Vermont air and the serene sounds of Lake Champlain.
Our 3 bedroom cottage is well appointed for remote work as well as a family retreat. Primary bedroom boasts a queen size bed, the second bedroom sleeps up to 4 children (or adults) on 2 bunk beds. At the 3rd bedroom has a queen size futon that also serves as a private office with standup desk, extra monitors, web camera, and a docking station - paired with the High-speed WiFi through the cottage - it provides for high performance remote work. The third bedroom also provides access to washer and dryer.
The cottage features a full kitchen with all the essentials to whip up both quick and elaborate meals - and the whole family can seat on the high chairs and enjoy a family dinner, sit at the porch to see and hear the lake while you enjoy dinner, or go outside and have a meal at the picnic table. Besides the full size refrigerator, there is also a beverage fridge to keep all your micro-brews cold.
Unwind in the comfortable living area, it has a comfortable couch and chairs to hang out and play family games or just relax in a cool air conditioned space after a long day under the sun. In the living room there is also a second work desk, allowing for multiple people to work remote. The high-speed WiFi supports both workstations to be on Zoom/streaming while multiple other device stream videos and movies.
The bathroom is small but functional with everything you need and the shower has consistent hot water.
The porch has plenty of seating space for the family to sit and enjoy the views and breeze from the lake. Also on the porch, there is a table for the family to have a meal in the shade but still enjoy the sunny days and crisp Vermont air.
The yard provides a space to lounge and soak the sun and for kids to run around and play. It includes a grill and a picnic table for outdoor dining. In the shed, you will find beach chairs, floaties, coolers, surfboards, paddleboards (convertible to kayak), bicycles, and miscellaneous toys, frisbees, and balls. Everything you need to feel right at home at our private beach and make the most of your time in our cottage.

Everything we needed was available, and even some nice bonus items. Great variety of kitchen and cooking supplies. Great items for kids, toys and books and activities. Great location, an easy, livable cottage.

Cute beach cottage, great location
Loved this little beach cottage. Fully stocked with everything you could need. Great location. We were there for UVM graduation and it was 15 min away from just about everywhere we wanted to be! Beds were really comfy. Only thing is the bathroom and shower are tiny - so if you are a larger human, this might be an issue. Otherwise loved it.

Awesome location for biking the causeway, very bike friendly area. However cabin was not worth 500 a night. Cabin needs a lot of attention. Oven and grill were disguising, yard was a mess and a lot of cleaning needed throughout the cabin. personal ideas left around the house and power strips which seemed like a fire hazard, not sure if the cabin had smoke detectors. It definitely is not a 3 bedroom cabin.

Thanks for staying with us and for noting the great biking on the causeway. I’m sorry the cottage didn’t meet your expectations. We wish we’d heard from you during your stay as we'd made every effort to improve your experience.
We put a lot of effort into cleanings and pre-arrival checks. However, we do agree that unbeknownst to us, our landscaper had failed to tend to our yard; unfortunately it was not until after you departure.
For clarity, our listing explains that this is our family home, which we actively use, so guests can expect a few personal items while keeping spaces clean, safe, and uncluttered. It also clearly shows the layout: two bedrooms plus a bedroom/office with a fold-out futon (the bunk room is compact and best for kids), with photos and description to set expectations.
We care deeply about this place and our guests’ experience. Thank you for the feedback. It helps us keep improving for future families.
