Good location and clean but bring your own bath soap because it wasn’t provided. Not close enough to walk to anything but very short drive to everything.

We had stopped providing soap and shampoo since many guests prefer to bring their own due to personal preferences or allergies, but we will be adding them back for guests who need them. Bug infested place! Stay away if you’re not looking to get a million ant bites. We had some unexpected travel delays so we weren’t able to check in until 11pm. When we walked into the kitchen there were hundreds of ants crawling from kitchen to front entrance and to hallways leading up to on of the guest rooms. Unfortunately there were no available places to check into that late at night so we were stuck here until next morning. Host was unwilling to give a full refund even though we checked out early next morning and even suggested we stay since he will send over to have professional bug killing spray inside and out side the house… absolutely disgusting and shameless

I completely understand how frustrating that must have felt in the moment, and I’m sorry you had that experience. That said, I do want to clarify that this was not an infestation. We had a licensed pest control company inspect the home, and they confirmed it was simply a minor presence of sugar ants, nothing more serious. Also, the fact that you chose to remain in the home for the night suggests the situation wasn’t at the level of an infestation as being described. If it had been, most guests would understandably choose to leave immediately. For that reason, we did not feel a full refund was warranted. The home is clean & well-maintained. It’s regularly rented across multiple platforms and has had zero issues reported, which is why it’s disappointing to hear it described this way. We take a lot of pride in the property, so it’s unfortunate that the situation has been portrayed in a way that feels exaggerated compared to what was actually found.
